What a lovely place. It's the last day of our visit to the area, so glad we discovered Amble.
Was in the area for a week and were so impressed that we visited it twice. The pods on the harbour are a fantastic idea and we look forward to coming again. is there anything on over the Xmas period
This beautiful village, which will always have a place in my heart, is where my Father was born at home on Queen Street on March 12, 1907. My Grandfather had an Ice Cream store there. My Father was baptized at St. Cuthbert's Church. I hope to return again this spring,
The friendliest port is not a joke. Beaches gorgeous, people friendliest, restaurants and cafes excellent, plenty to do and see. Recommend a visit or holiday in the area
Really nice & lovely gifts to be had , even can get a nice treat for your 4 legged friends to ,
Perfect setting, the pods are really good, lots of interesting and good quality gifts, crafts and food items. Had one of the best seafood meals ever in the old boat house, they kindly allowed us to sit inside in the corner with our small, perfectly behaved, elderly dog. Will definitely return on our next visit to the north.
Lovely place to visit. Needs more advertising. Didn’t realised it was there. Just followed the crowd of people heading towards it.
Lovely little harbour village, the pods are great for shopping, nice little areas for coffee, food etc and the lobster hatchery is amazing. Lots going on and Spurellies is a must for ice cream
Loved the little food and craft pods. Coffee at Spurrellis then later, Delicious lunch at The Boat House.
Lots of quirky things to buy and food to tempt you.I love the place.
Had a wonderful morning here, walked around and found a delightful stall 'Edie Pebble', beautiful trinkets of a high quality, we'll be back.
Great setting- lovely individual pods as well as the seafood centre- Very friendly people
Fantastic place! Happy 3rd Birthday!!
Lovely atmosphere and fabulous selection of Pod's
Fab place for fish and chips and lovely walks.
Can't believe how much Amble has transformed in the last 2 years (modern apartments on the harbour, beach huts, the prospect of a wine bar and cocktail bar...), but the wooden beach hut pods in the harbour village were the highlight for me, selling a great selection of food items and crafts/gifts! And Paul from The 'P' Pod (amongst others) certainly validates Amble being the friendliest port! Can't wait to re-locate here!
Brilliant family place to take children & walk your dog. Been a few times always very busy.
Been a few years since I visited Amble harbour, but popped down on my bike this evening. What a transformation!! Pleasantly surprised. Must go back during the day when the pods are open.
Love it here nice little beach hut shops nice chippy lovely walks
Stumbled over the harbour village on a walk from the Marina car park. Surprised that I hadn't seen a road sign in Amble. What a shame could have quite easily missed it.
