Amy Hadden Childcare Description
I offer a home from home early years learning environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. I also offer before and after school care for children aged 5 to 13 years. I can provide transport to and from school.
I work closely with parents to provide the best quality care possible to meet the needs of each individual child.
I am a fully qualified level 3, Ofsted approved childminder. I also have my paediatric first aid, safeguarding training and child observation training. I am a member of PACEY childminding organisation.
I am insured for public liability and fully comprehensive business use car insurance.
I work to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) It is my legal obligation to provide support, safeguarding and education for every child within their guidelines.
Every child age 5 and under will have their own daily diaries and learning journeys recording their time spent with me and their progress which will include photographic and written evidence of their stage and rates of development within the EYFS.
My priority is to provide a high standard of safe, welcoming, happy and educational care for children and their families at a competitive price.
Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7: 30am until 6pm at Β£4 per hour.
With advanced notice I will take children 1 hour either side of those times and weekends at a higher rate of Β£5 per hour.
For families with more than one child, the first child will be charged at Β£4 per hour then every child after that at Β£3. 50 per hour
I live in the rural village of middleton, just outside the main market town of pickering. It's just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute car drive to the quiet village surrounded by beautiful countryside. I live in a Dormer bungalow meaning my kitchen, toilet, bathroom, lounge and playroom are all on one floor making it a safe environment that I can easily supervise the children in at all times and an ideal situation for children with physical disabilities.
I have a large back yard and garden securely fenced in which is ideal for children who enjoy outdoor activities such as riding bikes, playing football or just hunting bugs!
What is the Early Years Foundation Stage?
All nurseries, pre-schools, reception classes and childminders who are registered to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage must follow a legal document called the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
The Early Years Foundation Stage, (EYFS) is a statutory framework that sets standards that all child care providers must work to if they care for children from birth to 5 years.
It aims to provide quality and consistency in all early years settings so every child can make good progress in a secure environment where their individual needs are met to ensure every opportunity is given to help them develop at a rate comfortable for them.
Good communication and partnership between care providers and parents is an essential part of this.
