Todays fish has arrived...whoops it all got skin on....better sharpen my knife only 200 to prepare.

Hope everyone enjoys the Royal Wedding. Our Albert Road shop is open all day today. Call and get some Great British fish and chips to take away and eat on the prom in the sunshine.

Another Footy order this time to Cambridge Utd. We were hoping that fish and chips was all they were taking back with them but they stopped us from getting 3 pts which we really needed. Lets hope the town turns up on Saturday for the biggest game since Wembley. Jim and the lads need your support NOW.

We have some job opportunites at both our Albert Road shop and cafe and our Christie Park Shop for weekend work and for the summer holidays. Must be over 16 years old, well presented, hardworking, willing to learn and be reliable. If you wish to apply please hand in your cv asap as these vacancies don't last long.

Good to see other chippies following our lead of serving fish and chips in biodegradable boxes. These boxes are bi product of the sugar cane industry and are 100% biodegradable and compostable. We have been using these since September 2017.

Massive thanks to our main contractor Jonathan and Lewis Hunt from IB Hunt and son. Gerry Walker and his plastering team. Steve Hallahan for the lighting and electrics. Lunar for the airconditioning. Chris at Logo Plus for the menu and signage and Broadoak for suppling the tiles. All local tradesmen They have transformed our takeaway just as we had planned and on time! Call in and take a look.

All set for re opening Monday. Frying 200 fish and chips behind closed doors for the shows at the Platform today. Nothing like a challenge to get us going again.

Our Albert road chippy will re open as planned on Monday at 11.30am Thanks for everybodys understanding while we have been closed. We hope you like the new look to the take away side. Its not finished yet but here are some photos from the last 2 weeks. Look out for our new logo and branding that is to be rolled out over shops these next few months. Roll on Monday.

Albert Road shop closed now for 3 weeks for some alterations. Why not visit our Christie Park shop we are open 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you there. Albert Road will be re open 26th Feb.

We had a lovely informal rehearsal dinner here with our families a few days before our wedding and I can't thank the staff enough for making it such a brilliant evening! The food was superb and there was plenty of it and everyone was served very quickly! The staff in the café were absolutely lovely and very efficient! I would definitely recommend the café to anyone who wants to experience fish and chips as good as it gets! Xx

Recommended by our B&B Landlady we called in for a sit down meal. Best example of traditional seaside fish and chips EVER !

Great food served in a very clean café by staff that have the widest smiles and most pleasant customer service approach I've come across in ages.

There seems to be a never ending procession of people going to the take out side, and people of all ages enjoying the food there

Just stopped for tea by chance , beautiful clean cafe , excellent fresh fish and proper chips . Would recommend if your ever this way �

Just been for lunch and can honestly say the fish and chips were the best I have had for a long time. I brought some family member with me from out of town and they were very impressed

Fantastic fish n chips. Eat in part closed at half 7 but we didn't realise and only arrived at quarter past. No mention was made and they let us eat our food in peace. It was only as the place became quieter and quieter that we realised they had locked the door so nobody could come in. We were still sat there at 10 to 8 and someone had to stay late to see to us.

Over and above the level of service we would expect. Thanks guys n girls. Definitely recommend to family and friends

Best chippy in morecambe I would recommended the chippy to anyone who wanting a good tasty food what makes your mouth water I went in on Sunday for motherdsy day for dinner and the portion was massive I was so stuffed I dint need feeding for another couple of days lol

Albert Road shop - outstanding fish and chips, massive pot of tea to go with it. Nice crunchy chips, and the fish was not too greasy - not too dry, just right. Best chippy around in my opinion.

Restaurant was what it was supposed to be, fish and chips, rustic and cosy. Not expensive like a lot of the remaining restaurants around, good honest fish and chips. Fast service, very understanding and quick to take care of you. A few things to be refined and fixed but that sums up Morecombe in general. Really nice meal at the sea side. �

Atkinsons has always been our chippy of choice. Tonight bought fish and large chips to share. The portion of chips was so small it didn't even cover the bottom of the tray in a single layer. I even asked if it was large chips when she wrapped them. Won't be going again if they're getting greedy. Very disappointed after going there for so many years.

I've lost count the amount of times we use this chippy but crikey after the order we just got we won't be using again. Sausage and chips with cheese - disgusting � very disappointed.

How hard is it to get an order right, staff don't seem to know what they are doung, over charged and order completely wrong.

Chips and steak pudding well over cooked and expensive �

The food came and someones chips missing. Rang up and got some lady who obviously wasn;t to interested and I was an inconvenience as she was trying to get me to cancel, anyhow the chips came 40 mins later. The food I did arrive after an hour was cold. Half was chucked. Burger was good. Would ring back to complain but after the first call it is pointless. Won't order again.

Normally great service and food. However, I get home after buying from in store and since when did £3.70 for 10 chips and a piece of fish become acceptable?! Usually great portions but this is just taking the piss.

Never usually a problem however tonight my mum bought some chips from the Christie park shop for us to get them home and find 2 long brown hairs tangled round them all... i phoned the shop and didnt even receive a single apology just told they wear hats as we can CLEARLY see but hair nets and things aren't a legal requirement I asked to speak to a manager as the attitude of the person on the phone was disgusting to then be told i was apparently already talking to the manager. The customer services from this lady tonight was awful! We understand these things can happen and an apology and fresh box of chips would of been fine but after the response from the person on the phone we won't be using this shop at all in the future! Any decent business owners that have employees with very long hair usually have hats AND hair nets and also speak to their customers politely not like a peice of crap like I was!

Needs the staff replacing in the christie park shop. We waited an hour and a half for our order when we rang to ask where it was we was told that our food wouldn't be with us for atleast another half an hour! The man on the phone was very rude and unsympathetic and i didn't recieve any apology for the wait despite having 2 small hungry children crying in the background! Won't be in a rush to order from here again!
