The AutismAble Theory of Change highlighted that the majority of young adults with autism struggle with poor mental health.
On a positive, this improved for 9 out of 10 of our learners / clients after attending our services.
Making friends, doing something meaningful and reducing loneliness and isolation were the biggest impact on improving their mental health.

We are so proud of the AutismAble Football team. They have just lifted the League 2 trophy in the 2018 South Tyneside Ability Tournament. The team had to get through 7 very tough games to be crowned winners.
It was a fantastic day and everyone who took part was a winner today. Thanks to Justin and the team at Keelmans Way for organising a great event. We would also like to give a special mention for Lexi O’Connor and Michael Bowers who were playing in their first tournament for the team. Well done all.
