Lovely wedding last night

We had our wedding reception here 12th august. We didn't have to worry about anything what so ever. Bev made sure our reception ran very smoothly without any hiccups. Will be getting our daughter christened next year and will be sure to be looking at this venue again. Thanks so much for everything you have done for us. Xx

We had our wedding in Avenue few days ago and very happy with everything . Bev is really professional and supportive, any problem arise, she can sort it straightaway . Reception room decoration was fantastic , meal was good and for the price - really good. We strongly recommend this venue for wedding or any other party ..

We had our wedding day here 24.09.2016. We married in the temple and had our meal &nyt reception in dwn stairs bar it was amazing frm start to finish Bev runs a tight ship & her staff are lovely too. If ur looking for sum were to get married or any event this is the place to be. Bev is amazing nothing was a problem to her .highly recommended. Jo & ian xxx

Me and my husband got married on Saturday, we can't thank Bev and her staff enough, the venue looked amazing, the staff were polite and helpful very professional, Bev out did herself to make sure our day was perfect and everything ran smoothly, I would highly recommend anyone to have any sort of event here, the food was amazing! All of our guest were more than happy with what they were eating, the fudge cake was to die for , once again we would like to thank Bev and the staff for making our day so amazing! I would highly recommend Avenue Tea Room for your special event ,Bev and her staff go out of there way to make sure everything goes well the room was gorgeous the food was perfect and everyone had a great night ,we have booked again for a very special wedding in November,thank you Bev for everything from all our family and friends xx

I was in this morning with my mam and fiancee and we all had a big breakfast .

It was totaly worth the money all fresh and hot excellent food and the staff were loverly couldnt do enough for us we will be back xx

I popped in for a coffee one day, great service and amazing home made food. After speaking to the staff, they showed me the function room. My 50th birthday was coming up, my husband was away during the week and wanted to organise something for me. He had a meeting with Bev who wrote down everything he wanted and most importantly said "don't you worry about a thing" sure enough we didn't. The night was amazing, room looked stunning, tables dressed, balloons and chairs. It was a black and white theme, Bev even ensured the staff wore black and white. We had hot food, which was GORGEOUS, beef, curry, chilli to name a few and the best roasties ever. Everyone said it was the best night ever. I had friends and family who travelled from Yorkshire, lakes, Manchester, China and Australia.

Staff are so friendly and the drinks are so reasonable and a great selection.

Since my party, my employees have had a party and 2 members of my family have held events there. My nephew held his wedding in the Chapel then downstairs for the reception. Again amazing from start to finish. If you are thinking about booking just go for it. Be quick tho because they are always busy.

I held my wedding ceremony and reception here a few weeks ago. The service throughout the day was excellent. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure our day was perfect. The food was amazing, the room dress was gorgeous and the DJ was fab. Bev done an absolutely amazing job from booking it to the day and throughout. I thank you all and i would definitely recommend it to everyone!! Xx

Had my wedding here last night and i just dont know were to start !!! The place is AMAZING!!! Can not think of a single thing to fault bev you are like wonder woman !! Really do go above and beyond everything was just perfect � food, service, decor, entertainment the list goes on !!! All our guests had the best time ever and we cant thankyou enough for making our day as perfect as it was , if your looking for a 5 star wedding go to Avenue!! You will NOT be dissapointed �����

Girls at work had hot beef sarnies and they looked lovely. I only had chips but they were bloody yummy � Great place to go for takeaway everyone x

Bev spent a great deal of time discussing what we wanted for our golden wedding anniversary and certainly didn't disappoint. The room was beautifully prepared catering was great and Bev and staff were so friendly and helpful . Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it .We will certainly come back .Highly recommended xxx

Went in there tea room for a breakfast and I must say it was tasty and the staff really friendly definitely would recommend it

A beautiful venue for any event. My husband and I were married in the temple and held our full day reception at avenue.

It was exactly what we envisaged and so much more. Bev, Christine and the team put in so much effort to pull off the perfect day and were excellent hosts. You know your day will run smoothly with Bev in charge!!

The food, the decoration and the venue were all second to none and I could not fault a thing.

The location could be tricky for photographs but if you have a decent photographer as we did they will come up with ideas and plan to take you somewhere scenic.

Our videographer also said the venue was a fantastic place to film, especially the temple as it's so different to other places.

I couldn't be more grateful and would highly recommend avenue to everyone x

Was at a family wedding 22 July. Can't fault the venue but you really need to employ people who enjoy working amongst people. never seen such a bunch of rude and miserable staff who are clearly not happy in there place of work...

Nice place but it smelt awful from the food that was cooking. My clothes stunk of grease the day after and it hung in the air. Saying that the food was great as was the band. A little loud on their first set as it was so early people were still chatting and arriving so maybe move them back half an hour as it was a shame but second half was fab and kept everyone on the dance floor! Bar staff were extremely rude to a lot of the party. My friend was told off for asking for a glass of prosecco as she didn't realise they only sold the bottle ( which is £4 more expensive than the White House) and they had a go at a few others during the evening. Not great!
