The Reindeer Retreat Pop Up Cafe’s last day was today but the Reindeer are with us until Christmas Eve so there is still time to pay them a visit 🦌 it’s free to see them during opening hours but if you want to feed them the machine takes £1 coins and what’s even better is all the money goes straight to our Charity, Azure Charitable Enterprises.

The Reindeer Retreat Café is back at Azure Garden Centre, Cramlington, until Sunday 16th December. It is open just to walk in for tea, coffee, hot chocolate or juice to drink, hot beef / turkey sandwiches, chicken nuggets / fish fingers & chips and a selection of snacks to eat. Monday to Friday 3.45pm to 5.30pm Saturday & Sunday 11.00am to 4.00pm

We visited for the reindeer lunch on Sunday. Such a lovely day out with great food and this had been kindly rearranged due to our baby arriving early. All staff were extremely helpful and we hope to go back next year. The parking was very well organised for such a busy time of year. Many thanks.

We had afternoon tea here today for my Grandma’s 80th Birthday, really good food and lovely service! All the staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Rachael who had the task of sorting us all out with cake and bringing us our food! The pies, sausage rolls and cheesecakes were especially good �

We had afternoon tea here for 7 ladies and a little lady. The staff were great and the food was lovely. They even added my niece's picnic to the afternoon tea stand so she could feel part of it. We will be back. Thank you!

We attended the breakfast with Santa and it was absolutely fab! It was well organised, staff were very friendly and helpful and it wasn’t over booked. It was amazing value for money, the children got a nice amount of time with santa and a fab present. Would definitely recommend this event!

Visited today with 1st Woodhorn Rainbows to see the reindeer. Great time had by all, girls loved seeing the reindeer and the juice and biscuits in the teepee. Thanks to John and Debbie who made it a great visit-girls are already asking if they can come back next year!

Visited today for my mum’s 88th birthday and had afternoon tea. We hadn’t booked (didn’t realise it was a booking kind of affair) but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. I think everyone of them came over to wish her a happy day. Quality of food and variety was brilliant. Great outdoor area for active 4 year old. Very relaxed atmosphere... child friendly! Didn’t feel under pressure to have the best behaved child! Will definitely revisit... and the garden centre and shops were a hit too

Very lovely afternoon tea plenty of foods nd refillable drinks , the service and staff was excellent and would recommend everyone to give it a try good value for money too and real reindeer outside to top off the magic of xmas would definatly go back again .

Today we took my Grandma to the cafe for afternoon tea for her 90th birthday. The staff were amazing! They really went out of their way to make it special. They all came out together with our cake and sang Happy Birthday, they took photos for us and made a fuss of her. Elaine and another lady whose name I didn't catch, but I think she might have been in charge, were particularly great and went the extra mile. The food and service were excellent too. Thank you so much x

Saw Reindeer retreat cafe on North East Family Fun page and booked for my family. Lunch in the tipi, each family sat in hay bale seating areas with big winter animal teddies all around. Children loved it. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The children were given some special reindeer moss to feed the reindeer when we had finished our lunch. The reindeer loved it as much as the boys loved feeding them. Such a lovely afternoon for a reasonable price. Staff were all fantastic! We enjoyed looking at all the Christmas lights in the garden centre and even bought some new decorations for our tree. Hoping this returns next year so we can come again.

Just had a wonderful afternoon tea. The quality of food and service from the young waiting staff was first class. Well worth the money and will definitely do it again.

Haven’t been for years. Love what they’ve done to it. Well laid out. Had lunch ..... food was excellent. Plenty of choice. Be warned...... cake portions are huge. Bought a plant , a plant pot tray , a jacket and a top!! Will be back.

Amazing Christmas display, totally eclipsing the bigger national garden centres, the best display I have seen this year. The staff are lovely, very approachable and friendly, the cafe serves great food at very reasonable prices, we'll definitely be back !! ���

It's a lovely place friendly staff but I was there yesterday with my 2 sister's and we all had omelette and chips and we all had an upset stomach later that day.

Enjoyed my visit and the food in the restaurant was good. However a bit of streamlining would be beneficial. The staff were run ragged all multitasking. Some on food orders and some on drinks and a separate queue for customers who only require drinks would be better

Christmas decorations are lovely but totally overpriced and some of them cheap quality too but again overpriced.Reindeers were lovely but were stressed and scared by some children who were running wild around your Christmas 'market' area with their mother screaching at them ( i use the term market loosely as its more like a jumble sale) Staff who were in the vicinity didnt seem to turn a hair to this unruly behaviour and i dont think its fair on the animals (or other visitors to your store) to have to put up with such unacceptable behaviour, we wont be back.
