We've recently moved to Barnard Castle and so far we've only tried a couple of take aways from here which were very impressive. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and professional. We'll definitely be using this restaurant more often

We have many takeaways over the years never been disappointed! A special thanks to Zak and his chef and team tonight for giving us a tasty meal with enough time to get to the train station in Darlington ’┐Įx

We had the most amazing Indian meal this evening at Spice Island.

Everything from the starter to the After Eight dinner mint was sublime...flavours were full on, spicy heat was spot on for each dish and they varied

Staff were seriously spot on, friendly, informative and professional...had some great advice from Rhys about tastes and flavours.

Overall a fabulous meal and a beautiful evening

Unfortunatly this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, has good reviews and offers a take away service, which is ideal when we have visitors staying with us, was disappointed that a recent order was not as requested, pleased to report, that after complaining to the management there response has been supper positive, not only rectified the mistake on my next order but pleasantly surprised to be given a voucher for a future meal. Big thank you Spice Ireland

I want to give all the staff for doing such a wonderful job, and I would also like to give the chef a hand as he was very nice and he should be proud to cook the best curry in the world. Must have been eating Spice Island curries for about fifteen years now and over the years they have just got better and better. Lovely welcoming staff and extremely yummy food!

Been meaning to write this for weeks... me, my husband and children popped in for a takeaway. Whilst we were waiting the service was incredible! They doted on the kids and made us feel so welcome we decided to sit in and eat instead. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was unbelievable. And overall I canŌĆÖt think of a better meal out weŌĆÖve had with the kids in tow! Thank you!!
