We've just had our carpets and vinyl done they are beautiful and gorgeous quality. Fitted to an extremely high standard thanks to John and his perfectionost skills and the help of Connor. Thanks to Louise for all the sample choices I had to choose from to get the right one for us. Couldn't be any happier thanks everyone and will definitely be returning 👍🏼.

We have used Barber & Whale a few times now with rental properties and always been happy with service and value for money. We recently decided to have carpets fitted in our own home and must say that they have done a stunning job with some tricky patterned carpet and tricky shapes to cut. Our stair case has been used for this facebook page and shows how skilled Barber &Whale are as the stairs and landing are symmetrical. John is a perfectionist and very knowledgeable, he was also able to offer advice and supply underlay etc when it came to our underfloor heating. I have used other companies in the past who just rush the job because the carpet fitter is often separate from the company. Barber &Whale however took the time to make sure we were happy and that the job was spot on! They are a great family business and we won't be using any other carpet company in the future. Support this local business please, they are the best!

We had our full house fitted with carpets and also had Lino in the bathrooms, I would highly recommend barber and whale to all my friends and family. The carpets were fitted to high standards and I must say I didn't have the easiest of lounge carpets to fit. John and Louise are a lovely couple and we're always very polite.

Very helpful and friendly service. The owners kept in touch and I was updated regularly as to the progress of my order. Delivery was timely and I was very happy with the High standard of service delivered.

I only wish I'd known about them sooner. Used this company a couple of times now and I can say with all certainty that I will not go anywhere else for my flooring.

The fact this is a small family operated buisness gives me the opinion that you get more of a personal service and they actually care about what they do which is a refreshing change from the big corporate type stores who only seem interested in how much you spend.

I thoroughly recommend Barber and Whale. I was looking for a new bedroom carpet and needed it to be fitted before Easter. There was loads of choice in the new shop & everyone was really helpfull. John managed get it ordered and fitted the next day. I am so pleased with the quality of their work. The carpet looks and feels great.

Had my new carpet expertly fitted just before christmas. Whole experiance was fantastic start to finish. John came out to size up at a time that suited me which was a huge help. Only issue I had was which carpet to choose! The selection in store is really good and Louise allowed us to browse at our own pace and when I asked for her assistance and opinion she was brilliant. Customer service goes above and beyond. Start to finish carpet was down less than two weeks later and I am over the moon.

Had a carpet fitted today in my little girls room and we absolutely love it. The two lads were polite and did a fantastic job left no mess. I'd highly recommend them.

Customer service is absolutely brilliant! I gave John and Louise a msg after getting a quote from Franks. The service I received from Louise and John compared to Franks was lovely. Franks were in and out smacking a quote down which to me I didn't know what I was getting. John went through what I would like and how he would recommend the job to be done to get the best outcome and quality. He gave me a choice of products depending on my budget and worked around my shifts and the painter to get the job completed. To me, there is a ignorance from big businesses that they always "get the job" so I'm so glad I looked into a small family business to provide and fit our flooring as not only was the flooring fitted to an exceptional standard, the price was also great!
