We never outgrow our need for the Gospel because it not only saves us, but also transforms us through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
The ultimate good news, only found in the gospel, is based solely on what God has done for us, not what we do for God. God has reconciled us through the sacrificial love of Jesus that was accomplished by His death and confirmed by His resurrection. Because of what God has done for us, we are committed to sharing the good news of reconciliation with God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit to all people.

Bethany's wild adventure, Easter club 2019 .. what a week! On average we had 130 children through our church door everyday this week! We can't thank all the helpers, parents/carers and children enough, without you we wouldn't be able to run this awesome event! We have been planning this for months and months and to finally see it all happen this week is just amazing! What a team we have!! Can't wait for next year's already but for now, we will look forward to hopefully see...ing all the lovely families on Sunday! Thank you all from our Easter club team 🐒🦓🦁🐘🦒🐍

Bethany's Wild Adventure starts tomorrow, doors open at 9:45 to get registered into your groups! Please note we are fully booked and can not allow people to come in, without a booked space!

Registration for this years Easter Club is now open.
Bethany's Wild Adventure will run from 9th to the 12th of April, 10am (9:45am 1st day for registration) until 12:30pm and is for School years, Reception to year 6!

Everyone is welcome to join us tomorrow night from 6pm for our annual Fireworks Cafe. This year, as well as serving soup, we have a great Art Exhibition for you to see. The display is made up of pieces made by young people and artists from the local area. So come and enjoy some hot soup bread bun and a cuppa, while waiting for the Houghton feast fireworks to start at 7:30pm. We look forward to seeing you all there 🥫🥣☕🎆

This Sunday morning, in our Family Service, we’re starting a new study series on Paul’s letter to the Philippian Church. We’ll be starting in Acts 16 as an introduction and then in following weeks we’ll look at Paul’s words of commendation, encouragement and advice as we seek to learn how we can follow their example.

Come and join us this sunday as we look at the subject of Repentance, in our THIN PLACES series!
The church is one of the few places in today’s society when young and old can get together and this Sunday we are coming together as a church family and remembering God’s faithfulness to His people as we celebrate CAMEO Sunday. The service will showcase the work of the many volunteers, helpers and members that make Tuesdays a very busy place at Bethany. After the service the CAMEO members will be staying for lunch served in the Sportshall.
