We're pleased to announce that tickets are now available from the clubhouse for our Summer BBQ on Sunday 23rd June. Less than 6 weeks to go....🌭🌞🎶🍔🥂

We had a great session this morning with the Beginners Running course. There were around a dozen participants, and the feedback so far is that people enjoyed the session. We started gently, with a mix of walking and running - it's important to build up gradually. We are only at week 1, so if anyone knows someone who may benefit from this, it's not too late, they can sign up and join us on week 2 next Sunday (19th May) at 10am. Email beginners@bexleyac.org.uk to register.

We’re excited that our next beginners running course starts tomorrow! We have space for more and there is still time to register, or just come along and see us at 10am tomorrow. All abilities welcome. Hope to see you there!

Upcoming course information:
The next holiday (half term) course for 6-11 year old children will be on Weds 29th May 2019 at Erith Stadium. This is a great way to introduce aspiring young athletes to Bexley AC, and for them to learn new skills and burn off some energy during the school holidays. It is also open to existing members.

Very close match indeed, with some of the gaps filled it's possible we could have snatched third. Well done to all those who competed on the 13th.

Bexley AC are delighted that Andy Barrow, triple Paralympian, three-time European gold medallist and former captain of the Great Britain wheelchair rugby team will be the guest of honour at the Myra Garrett 10k and 3k Fun Run on Sunday 21 July at Danson Park.
Now retired from competitive sport at the highest level, Andy is an inspirational speaker and mentor as well as being part of the Mayor's Active Londoners campaign to promote sport as a unifying force to strengthen local... communities in the capital. Andy went to school in Bexley and retains close links to the Borough. He's delighted to support Bexley AC's work with schools and groups in developing local talent and coaching and training for all. Andy is also pleased that Bexley AC have adopted Bexley Mencap as their chosen charity for the event. This recognises Bexley Mencap's commitment to providing sports and keep fit activities for people with Learning Disabilities.
