Collection Report: CT9A Evolution IX RS with just 13k km from new!
The Evolution IX marks the end of the 4G63 Evo models. Although it ran since 1992 the 4G63 went through a number of changes since it first appeared in the original Evolution model.
James had been on our books for some time. Unsure of what to buy as an investment and already owning a super rare Evolution VIII RS he was looking for something different. We looked at low mileage EK9 Civic Type-Rs, CP9A Evolution V...I Tommi Makinen Editions and out of the blue, this super low mileage Evolution IX RS came up at a dealer and it was actually James that found it and sent it over.
Within 48 hours we had received dozens of high resolution images including the underneath, running gear, interior, every panel and although it needed some new tyres, apart from that, it was prestine.

Spoon N1 Muffler Kit for the FK8!
Although it is CIVIC TYPE R (FK 8) which exhibits the maximum output 320 ps and the maximum torque 400 Nm even in normal, it aims to improve the output in the whole area without impairing the high-torque, high-response engine performance in the low to middle revolution range which is also its characteristic , I have repeated a number of exhaust tests.
The main pipe uses SUS 304 material 70, and the tail adopts the 70 finisher for 145 shell t...ype dual silencer which can be said as a symbol of SPOON N 1 muffler. By eliminating any throttling of each flange connecting part and making it a straight structure, it has improved exhaust efficiency to the limit, and realized fine N1 sound.
Our normal price on these is £2300 but we are offering the first 3 customers a deal price of £2150 all in.

i've had 2 cars off Andy and Baz, between an Integra DC5 back in 2007 and a Civic FD2 in 2018. Both occasions were effortless and simple for me the buyer.
Not once did i question pushing money their direction for something i'd not see for a couple of months. i was completely comfortable with their ethics and keen eye for the right car.
Andy actually refused to sell me an FD2 we won as it wasn't inspected prior to bid (due to location/time constraints) and sadly its grade sheet was misleading! He then found me a perfect example we could inspect and the rest is history.
superb integrity as a seller to do what he did.
no questions, id highly recommend and id happily return to them for another car in the future.

The report included history on all of the promised details along with photo's of the car going through the auction house, this will no doubt be an invaluable addition to the cars history and I'll have no hesitation whatsoever in using Andy and his team for my next JDM vehicle purchase, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Top service from BHP Imports got my kakimoto regu 06&R exhaust for my DC5 love the system told me it was the best system out there for a honda if you don't want it too loud would highly recommend to get parts or cars from them I certainly will in the near future �

Just shipped over a 1990 Skyline and it's in mint condition and they even helped replace a few of the worn parts so it looks brand new. They keep in touch throughout the 10-12 week process and provide all the information you need. Couldn't have asked for more and can't recommend them enough.

His customer service I have to say it was absolutely outstanding throughout the import process he replied to many late night message and query that I had which you simply wouldn't get going to a 9-5 company. He offers much more of a personal and friendly experience which is something you want when buying a car you have never seen!
When the car landed he went way past the extra mile to make sure the car exceeded my expectations for collection - car was detailed / serviced and he sorted a couple of issues out for me for no extra charge just so it was perfect when I picked it up!
Almost a year on and the car hasn't put a foot wrong since I collected it. I would recommend Andy to anyone looking at bringing a Japanese import over I simply wouldn't ask anywhere else.

i've had 2 cars off Andy and Baz, between an Integra DC5 back in 2007 and a Civic FD2 in 2018. Both occasions were effortless and simple for me the buyer.
Not once did i question pushing money their direction for something i'd not see for a couple of months. i was completely comfortable with their ethics and keen eye for the right car.
Andy actually refused to sell me an FD2 we won as it wasn't inspected prior to bid (due to location/time constraints) and sadly its grade sheet was misleading! He then found me a perfect example we could inspect and the rest is history.

Unfortunately I wasn't aware of BHP Imports when I purchased my current car however after a few recent conversations with Andy I took advantage of the offer to have a comprehensive Japanese report produced. The report included history on all of the promised details along with photo's of the car going through the auction house, this will no doubt be an invaluable addition to the cars history and I'll have no hesitation whatsoever in using Andy and his team for my next JDM vehicle purchase, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Top service from BHP Imports got my kakimoto regu 06&R exhaust for my DC5 love the system told me it was the best system out there for a honda if you don't want it too loud would highly recommend to get parts or cars from them I certainly will in the near future �

Known Baz for a while via a fellow petrol head so know how genuine his passion is for Japanese cars and he is an expert at importing spectacular specimens. Just shipped over a 1990 Skyline and it's in mint condition and they even helped replace a few of the worn parts so it looks brand new. They keep in touch throughout the 10-12 week process and provide all the information you need. Couldn't have asked for more and can't recommend them enough.
I've imported 3 cars with BHP Cars now and every time they are in fantastic condition.
The team in Japan know their stuff when it comes to the cars and Andys service once the car lands in the UK is second to none.
Your car will be ready for the UK roads without having to worry about anything else (e.g undersealing, servicing, clock changes).
People worry about importing a car from another country but in my experience I've had less complications with the cars than the UK ones.
When it comes to buying another car I'll be heading straight back to BHP cars

I used Andy @ BHP's personal import service to source my pre-facelift DC5 at auction last year, I approached Andy going off his high reputation for importing Honda's over the years and he has a good knowledge for these cars. His customer service I have to say it was absolutely outstanding throughout the import process he replied to many late night message and query that I had which you simply wouldn't get going to a 9-5 company. He offers much more of a personal and friendly experience which is something you want when buying a car you have never seen!
When the car landed he went way past the extra mile to make sure the car exceeded my expectations for collection - car was detailed / serviced and he sorted a couple of issues out for me for no extra charge just so it was perfect when I picked it up!
Almost a year on and the car hasn't put a foot wrong since I collected it. I would recommend Andy to anyone looking at bringing a Japanese import over I simply wouldn't ask anywhere else.
I imported my Nissan skyline R32 GTR through BHP Imports at the end of 2015, and I couldn't be happier with it which is a massive credit to Andy.
I started looking and looked at a few importers and after hearing about Andy and the good reviews I chose to import one with him, as it was my first car I've imported from Japan it was all new to me and handing over a large amount of money with only seeing pictures of a car was pretty daunting, but Andy made me feel a lot more comfortable.
When I finally got the car I was over the moon with it, was just what I was looking for, there were a few issues with the DVLA but Andy went out of his way to sort them out!
