This summer Billyjean's is in the position to hire out the facilities for your special event. What ever your party size, we can accommodate. Suitable for Birthdays, Christening, Engagements etc and even a wedding is possible. You'll have exclusive use of the 5 acre field, log cabin and kitchen. We now have exterior lighting so you can party well into the night. 5 outdoor electric hookups for caravans/motor-homes and water taps if you fancy staying all night. Also suitable for camping. JOB OPPORTUNITY - Keep fit type person required to take out door fitness classes in this field this summer. No limit to the number of classes, men's, women's, kids after school, beginner, advanced. FREE event on Sunday. The Durham City Young Farmers are holding their annual Vintage Tractor Road Run. Come along and see 45 tractors lined up, ask question and join them for bacon sandwiches at 9.00am for a 10.00am drive off. See website for further details.

Hansel and Gretel have been captured by the young trainee witch that lives in the forest, so we have all been asked to help rescue them. We all set off for the forest together. We find Hansel has been put in a cage beside the witches’ lair and Gretel has been instructed to alert the witch if any other children pass by. But Gretel would rather the passing children helped her and her brother to escape, so she sends the children deep into the forest to look for the ladder that t...he witch took with her to enable her to reach some high up bats wings, and also the passing children must search for the key to cage which is mixed up with lots of other keys hung in the spiders den. You’ll have to take them all back and see which one fits the padlock. Meanwhile, the witch and her scary risen from the dead assistant are roaming the forest looking for bats wings, fire wood and some ingredients for the cauldron. Whilst they are out there, they will see you trying to steal the ladder and find the hidden key, and they will try and catch you too. One by one they’ll capture you and send you back to be put in the cage (photo opportunity), but by this time Gretel has the key, she’s unlocked the cage and released Hansel. Everyone escapes back along the path and to a nice cup of hot chocolate at the kitchen cabin. The witch and her assistant leave the forest life, they soon realised how poorly they had been treating the children, so they follow the lights back home give everyone some of the cauldron broth (sweets) to take home.
