As part of our Kids In The Kitchen cooking initiative we have organised some Burger Making Classes in our shop. Each class will have 8 children (aged 6-12 years old) who will get hands on with making their own burgers! Children will learn about about health & safety in the kitchen, where our meat comes from and they will create their own burger mix and hand press their own burgers! It’s going to be a lot of fun, and don’t worry we know it will get messy!
For attending children will get a Certificate, Junior Blackwell’s Apron and their Burgers to take home.

Went for lunch at 3.30 on Sunday with a large group of friends and family, from start to finish the service was amazing, very friendly staff, amazing quirky place to eat, absolutely gorgeous food. Can't wait to go again

Well what can I say you catered for our daughters wedding on Saturday at worsall village hall, and I’ve had nothing but complements and high praise off all our guest. From the minute we had our first consultation with Anna she put Stacey and Jordan at ease. Going along with their choices and advising them nothing was too much trouble. On Saturday from the minute we arrived at the reception everything was perfect Anna and her team done a perfect job even when the bride and groom wanted to bring the speeches forward and delay the good it was not a problem. People have been telling me all weekend that the bbq was fantastic and the steaks were cooked to perfection and our out of town guests raved about the pies. So once again a million thanks to Blackwell butchers especially Anna for giving Stacey and Jordan everything they asked for. 1st class service all round. Thanks June and Ken Dodd

We visited Blackwell's for Sunday lunch on 04/06/17 with a large family party of 12. The food served is superb, excellent value for money and exceptional service. This is a unique dining experience, such a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again. Well done guys!!

We ordered a large pork pie for a 60th Birthday and we were over the moon with it!



The recipient doesn’t like cake so it was an ideal alternative! Thank you so much! :D

I have been twice now.. first time I got mainly meat and I got a lovely bottle of wine and I'm not normally a wine lovely and I was so amazed how lovely everything was AND today I went and got meat, cheese and pastries and again so so so happy!!

The lad recommended I think it was called Black bomber mature cheddar so I got a small one and just had it and it was amazing!! I don't know much about cheese but that tasted unreal!! Also had some peri peri kebabs and the taste is amazing!! Next time I'm going to ask if they sell the rub for it so I can put it on some chicken wings ���

So happy and I'm 100% going to buy from there again!!

I come here most saturday mornings with my dad. Today is the first time I have ever had lunch from here. I have just eaten the best parmo potatoes and coldslaw in my entire life. Thank you so much.

Got a full turkey for the first time in ages (normally get crown). A bit worried about sizings etc, but Joe at blackwells helped me out and the turkey was a roaring success. Beautiful butchers x

Got a couple of parmo packs today to make at home & I can honestly say iv never had a parmo like it!! It was unreal & so so tasty. It's perfect that everything comes separate so you can make them to exactly ya liking. Will 100% be back for more. Amazing food at amazing prices. Also got 2 mince pies, steak & kidney pie, sausages rolls & pack of sausages as they got recommended at Hairdressers we use over the road by Vicki the owner & everything we got was beautiful. Well done Blackwell & your staff were fantastic too as so helpful & full of smiles.

Amazing. Bought a porchetta joint at Christmas, froze it and roasted today for tomorrow’s lunch, absolutely beautiful, I’ve tried to make this myself but this tastes 1,000 times better. Will be calling for some brisket soon. The lady in the queue before me bought a piece and that also looked gorgeous.
