Well done to the 8 boys and 4 girls who took part in today’s 14&U Road to Wimbledon competition.
After some impressive tennis, great rallies and a few long matches our boys winner was Matthew and girls winner was Catherine. Both will go on to represent Bohemians at this year’s Northumberland county finals.
... A special mention to the younger players who took part today - some of whom were playing their first full ball competition. Everyone played very well and we were impressed by everyone’s attitude and fair play! 😃👍

MAY HALF TERM TENNIS 🎾☀️🎾☀️🎾
We have 4 days of tennis camps taking place at Bohemians during the May Half Term school holidays from Tuesday 28th - Friday 31st May 2019
We have 2 sessions each day to suit all age groups:
... Mini Tennis Camp from 10am to 12pm Suitable for all children aged 5 - 9/10 years old, whether they are beginners or more experienced Mini Tennis players.
Junior Tennis Camp from 1pm-3pm Suitable for all children aged 10 and over who can play full ball tennis.
The emphasis, as always, is on having fun while developing the young players coordination, balance, movement and racquet skills. Match play will be incorporated during the week for the more experienced mini players and during all the junior full ball sessions.
Courses will run subject to minimum numbers of participants and the cost for the full week is £30 or £8 per individual day.

An excellent sunny Easter Monday of family tennis at Bohemians. This morning we had our Quorn Family Tennis Cup with 11 pairs playing for the chance to win a place at a regional red ball festival day. After some very close, competive matches with great rallying from all the kids, we had our final which saw Rory and mum Rachel take the title 10-8! Very well done to them 👍🏆🥇 After a quick lunch break it was time for our full ball Family Doubles Competition which had 8 pairs com...peting in a fun Fast 4 format. Again we had some very competitive and close matches and some super tennis from kids and adults alike. Winners of the 2 round robin groups played in the final which saw Catherine and Ann stage a great comeback recovering from 0-3 down to win 4-3! Again, very well done to them 🏆🥇😃 Thank you to all the parents who brought their kids down to play and to the families who came along to watch and support. I’m sure we had quite a few parents who were impressed by how much their kids had improved over the past few months!

EASTER 2019 TENNIS COURSES We have a week of tennis courses for kids taking place in the first week of the school holidays at Bohemians from Monday 8th to Friday 12th April. There are 2 sessions to suit all ages:
Mini Tennis Camp from 10am to 12pm for players aged 5-9/10 years old whether beginners or more experienced mini players.
... Junior Tennis Camp from 1pm to 3pm for players aged 10 and over who can play full ball tennis.

Finishing off a superb weekend of tennis with our U8’s and U9’s competitions this morning. Well done to all our young stars who took part today and thanks to the parents, grandparents and friends who came to watch and help out. 😊☀️🏆🏅🎾

A fabulous day of tennis finals and BBQ fun! Thank you very much to everyone who came along and supported our club today - even with a rather important football match taking place! We had a lovely family atmosphere and hope that everyone had a great day watching and playing tennis 😊☀️
We kicked off the action with some great tennis from our U10’s tournament at 10am this morning and finished off with a few tired players just before 7pm this evening!! And a England Quarter Final Win in the middle to cheer too!!
Well done to all the winners, runners up and everyone who took part in our 2018 Club Championships.

Our fantastic summer tennis and multi sport camps are back at Bohemians this year! We have 3 weeks of full day camps for kids aged 8-16 years old. Each day starts at 9am and runs till 4pm and costs just £80 for the full week or £20 per day.
Camp dates are: Week 1 Monday 23rd July to Friday 27th July Week 2 Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August... Week 3 Monday 6th August to Friday 10th August

A fantastic afternoon for our club Road to Wimbledon Competition. Well done to all 10 players who took part and congratulations to our winner Matthew and runner up Daniel. Some amazing rallies in the final and all day!!

A fantastic day of Bank Holiday Monday tennis fun! At 10am we kicked off with Mini Family doubles in our Quorn Tennis Cup. 12 pairs played some great matches with the final seeing Adam win over Beth. Well done everyone who came along and made it such a fun event (and well done parents for organising the impromptu but very competitive game of rounders afterwards!) Full ball Family doubles followed with 7 pairs playing the new Fast4 format. Again some competitive and close matches with the final seeing Daniel and Matthew win over Parvin and Daniel. 13 players took part in the afternoon adults American Doubles with Paul and Paddy topping the men’s leaderboard and Sue the women’s. Think we were all flagging a bit in the heat towards the end but a perfect day for tennis!! 😊☀️😎🎾
