How should I clean my spectacles? 👓 The most common question we get asked at collection appointments.
There are some simple do’s and don’ts when cleaning your specs.
◾️You will be given a spectacle cleaning cloth when you pick up your specs, and that’s the best thing to use, along with specialist specs cleaning spray.
... ◾️Avoid cleaning your specs without using the spray as you can inadvertently scratch the lenses if there is dirt on the surface.
◾️So, the best routine is to spray or rinse your specs, then polish with a soft lint-free cloth. Clean your specs regularly for optimum vision, and avoid using paper tissues which can scratch the lenses.
