Brewers Fayre Wessington

had an absolutely fantastic day to day at the wessington for my great granddaughters 5 th birthday from arriving till leaving the staff were amazing didn`t have to wait long for our meals to arrive there were 10 adults and 6 kids and we all had our meals together the meals were pipping hot and quite big servings every one had a brill afternoon and no one in our company could fault the meals or service we received 1000% we will be back thank you so much to the manger and floor staff and the kitchen staff x

On Friday my self and 20+ others came here to raise a glass to my late friend for her birthday and from the minute we all get there until the end all the staff were lovely even brought a free bottle of prosecco over for us to make a toast which was a lovely touch and very thoughtful so we would just like to say a big thank you

Came in yesterday. I was munching on what i thought was the ultimate burger, was like damn this burger is good! Discovered id ordered the mighty by accident and it was the marmite one. One of the best burgers ive had!!! Next time ill order mighty on purpose lol xx

Don’t get the 1 star and 2 star reviews. I thought the food was really nice, the burgers were lovely. Its relatively cheap than other places. I thought the manners of the staff were nice and came to our table to remove plates and ask for sauces etc. Only reason I haven’t gave a 5 is because our table was a little dirty and I felt the portions could have been a little better. But overall I recommend this place.

Went for a meal Sunday early evening decided on a carvery there was 5 of us not much meat left looked dried up but when chef cut the dried bit of food it was ok the veg was lovely but as we started the meal we heard them clear everything away. My friend hadn’t got gravy so ran out to get some, just caught them b4 they took it away and there was no chance of going back for any more which is what a carvery is all about. We also went for Sunday breakfast a few weeks ago wanted to impress friends who were staying as a while ago, breakfast was great. They took your order and did it to your liking but this time, it was help yourself the men waited quarter of an hour for bacon, the coffee machine said out of beans had to ask for beans, then spoons, everything was running out and nobody filling up absolute disaster that day very embarrassing

Stayed over Rugby League Magic Weekend. Friday -Monday in Premier Inn. Many other rugby fans too. Breakfast Saturday morning was a farce. Everything ran out. Food plates cups cutlery. Just everything. Big cues and waiting times just because they were not geared up for the amount of people. They must have known how many guests to expect. Surely ! Also ladies loo by the buffet - closed ( there was another) but coffee machine - out of order, toaster - out of order (Mon) same loos opened but one toilet -out of order. Just very off putting. Can't fault the staff. Very friendly. Can't fault the food. Monday morning changed to breakfast to order- fair enough if we had known before. Seemed to take a long time considering very few other guests waiting � . Anyway have stayed in many many premier inns across the country and avoid the ones with Table Table due to bad experience. May have to re think Brewers Fayre now too. I'm not a picky person , quite the opposite but the whole experience wasn't great. Considering on the Friday afternoon the "powers that be" were clearly having a staff meeting in the bar area to sort out issues. One being " the correct way to scoop ice cream into the container to ensure one portion" . Bigger issues guys !!!!

Quick and easy ordering process. Food was really tasty. Plenty of it too. No cutlery on the table either. Ordered puddings my friend and her daughter's came. 15 mins later a boy came out and said what I had ordered had ran out. Ordered dirty mud pie instead it came 5 mims later but was rock hard and couldn't put fork or spoon through it. Only popped in here as been in Sunderland at the theatre.

Long wait for the food to be served Order came out wrong and had to ask for sauce that came with steak. Staff very slow at clearing table and and to ask a couple of times for kids desserts to be brought out x

it was a complete shambles. we ordered food at 5.49pm and were told it was a 45 min wait for food, which was fair enough as my daughter was playing in the play area and there was a few people in the both the family and bar area, anyway after a hour there was still no food, i asked a member of staff and i was told 10 mins, but the table next to me had been told the same and they still didnt have there food. after a hour and 45 mins wait and after asking a second time where our food was it finaly came and it was cold and burnt. when we complained the staff and the manager didnt realy seem to care, one member of staff told us there had been over 30 complaints in the last 2 hours, thats a disgrace. to top it off the high chair we had been given for my 2 year old had a screw sticking out of the side of it,( i do have pictures of this) all in all the service and staffs attitude was shocking !

Very poor, there was no special sauce with my New York burger as described on the menu and food was poorly presented and tasteless. We ordered desserts and when my friends came it was not the salted caramel sundae we had ordered. When we asked we were told abruptly they had no caramel left but if we didn’t want it they would take it away. I can’t believe they didn’t come and inform us before just bringing anything out and give us the choice of ordering an alternative. It wasn’t even a proper portion and bottom of glass was empty, certainly not worth nearly £5. I won’t be returning to eat here again.

The carvery was fab we all enjoyed it. We ordered desserts after we had the carvery. waited nearly 1 hour for them. my son went to the bar to check on them was told they would not be long. we still waited ages for them. we got fed up waiting for them & asked for our money back. my husband told the manager he was not happy as we have been loads of times & never had anything to complain about before, the manager said he was not happy either. just as the card had been refunded the desserts turned up we were so fed up waiting for them we just went home. we had one very unhappy granddaughter. we maybe should have ordered them when we ordered & paid for the carvery, hindsight is a wonderful thing but we only decided after eating our lunch.

I ordered scampi chips peas and tartar sauce , when it came there was no peas or sauce . I asked why the waitress replied that I’d ordered it after 6 and the menu changed so if you order after 6 you don’t get what states in the menu . I’ve never seen a plate of foot that looked so awful the chips were very dry and tasteless, I will not be eating here again

Attended a kids party 13:00-14:30. The food didn't turn up until 14:30 and the sevice was slow when it did.



When more than one person complained the response from staff was "What do you want me to do about it" Not even an apology was given until another complaint was made.



I will never bring my family back.

We came here as we have done before for food and a drink. We ordered food at 16:23. After the till not processing twice it finally went through third time (I’m still waiting to see if the 3 showing pending charges on my credit card all go through). At 17:15 I went to ask where the food was and was told it hadn’t gone through to the kitchen. At this point I was told I could cancel my order or wait for them to process it this time. I was offered nothing as way of a good will gesture or even a sorry. When the food arrived at 17:36 there were some mac and cheese bites. The gentleman who served me took them away only to return and say they were for waiting so long. Unfortunately we weren’t asked if we’d like them and neither myself nor my partner like mac and cheese. The food was as nice as it always is and I have enjoyed coming here but will definitely think twice before returning in future

Took the dog after she was on the beach, sat in beer garden in the shade which is huge only a few other couples outside, we got told no dogs allowed, cause of food and hygiene, wouldn't even let us finish our drinks off, so they rather we put the dog in a hot car nice one, food and hygiene what a joke no one was outside eating but plenty of people smoking but that's ok lol, so not 1 sign that says no dogs, shame its always had a bit of a bad rep and they dont seem to make a effort to change it, I'l stick to granny annies where they welcome dogs great place, compared to this place that's still stuck in the times

Service was absolutely terrible. In need of older and more experienced staff with better attitudes.Went in at 12 and had to wait an hour for 2 chicken and chips. Table behind the same and there order was wrong when it came.

Food was very poor in size and quality. Soft play area unsupervised and only a matter of time before a young child is hurt. Tables and toilets filthy.

If I could give no stars I would. Arrived at 17:10 Had a drink ordered food at 17:30 now 18:35 and still no food. Asked staff to check what has happened with order told it's on its way that was at 18:25. The place is dead no excuse to be waiting this long.

Came here today with my friends and kids, 7 ov is in total, 4 ov us got our meals after waiting a good 40-50mins food was luke warm, then the other 3 eventually got there’s after we had nearly eaten ours, one got sent back nd my friends daughter got the kids cheeseburger which was still cold, then had to wait another 30 odd mins for 3 tiny doughnuts for kids, as we were leaving one ov the staff members cleaning the table said watch out instead ov excuse me to get past me, Absoloutly terrible service and terrible food, think staff need to go on a customer service course! We won’t be back!

Came for a relaxing dinner before show took 43 mins for the first course to come leaving us 10 mins to cram down pudding that who knows will turn up before we have to leave .....not surprised that know one is asking how our meal is
