Nine of us were there on Saturday for my brother in laws birthday. We were greeted immediately with a smile and were asked if we would mind grabbing a drink at the bar whilst we waited for our table (didnt mind at all) We had only just bought our first drinks and our table was ready. The waitress we had looking after us was very attentive from the beginning of our evening to the end. She remembered what we had all ordered when she brought our food (starters & mains). She made sure we were all ok for drinks throughout the night (not annoyingly) and checked in to ask how our food was (it was tremendous) Absolutely fab night, second time being here, didnt disappoint and will definitely be back.

My husband & I took the kids here last night as we fancied tapas .. Honestly speaking from the attentive service to quality of food and reasonable prices we thought it was fantastic. I was dubious about portion sizes due to previous reviews on here but they were exactly if not slightly larger than I would expect. I also have a three year old and they were very accommodating of him & his specific dining requirements. We had a lovey meal, and what's more fed a family of four for £55! That included two glasses of wine and a half of lager & two cokes and seven plates of food, and ice cream for the mini man... Making use of the two dine for £22 offer ... All staff were spot on... And the venue itself is beautiful.

My hen party and I came here tonight for dinner to top off what had already been a wonderful day.



Our waiter was so friendly and his service exceptional. I'm sorry that I didn't catch his name!



The food was incredible and we couldn't grumble at the overall bill; it was so reasonable!

My first visit to Budda Lounge today and to say I was well impressed is such an understatement!!

Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and informative of both the menu and the Ferris Buellers day out discussions that followed lol. A fab service from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble- Thank you

Food was so tasty, I had the shell on prawns with chilli nd cashews - delish nd even got a doggie bag as there was loads. Friends had the 2 for £22 with a drink included each - pad Thai nd thai curry went down a treat, even after 2 rounds of Prawn Crackers lol Beth �

The ambience nd decor were simply the icing on the cake - can't believe I've never been here before but believe me I'll certainky be back x

Me and my pals came last night for the bottomless prosecco offer! Wow well worth the money, the food was fabulous and the staff were ace they were constantly making sure our glasses were topped up! Well worth the £29 would definitely recommend it! We had a fabulous girly day! Xxx

Lovely food , and the music, lighting and table layouts are perfect, the staff have that balance between being professional and attentive without being stiff and overbearing. Service is not forced and neither is a vibrant atmosphere. This restaurant strives to make the most of this beautiful and unusual location

I had the best 40th birthday party here with some of the best most craziest friends every!! Buddha went out of their way to make it fantastic and I can’t thank the staff for all the hard work (we were rather merry lol) oh and it was Louise who made the mess in the door way with the party poppers and cannons!!

Hello there I came for my lunch with my friends the other day and just want to say I had a lovely meal and amazing customer service from a girl Called Becca and she couldn’t be more helpful and friendly will 100% come back she is a credit to you business xx

Had the bottomless prosecco deal, food was great really tasty service was good friendly and helpful only thing I would say is we had to keep asking for top ups on drinks other than that cannot fault it will most definitely be going back soon

Had a great night, food was only surpassed by the 2 girls that weighted on us. They’re recommendations were spot on, very bubbly and polite. Great night out with the wife made better. Cheers.

Friendly efficiate polite staff, food amazing chicken satay and chicken chow main lovely not bad prices either. Always busy best to book to avoid disappointment highly recommended this place

Service was good. Drinks margarita was a bit weak, starter duck pancakes were lovely just needed more spring onions and cucumber. Main meal was chicken chow mien very nice but dry as had no sauce on it, so had to ask for hoi sin sauce to put on. This was not a problem with our waitress who was very friendly.

My daughter and myself went on Thursday before we went to see Paloma Faith in the Priory. We have been to The Buddah Lounge lots of times and we have always enjoyed the whole experience. We were very disappointed to be told that as the Mouth of the Tyne festival was on , over this weekend there would be no special offers on. I think you would get more people in, who have maybe never visited you before , the tapas and 2 drinks offer is a very good offer, i am sure it would get people in who would definitly return.

The place needs a really good clean and repairing. The seat was ripped to shreds and cutlery dirty. I didn't rate the food, the staff seemed pissed off and generally not a nice experience. Shame as I used to like it.

Feeling ripped off � we were looking forward to going out for lunch. Ordered the ‘2 people eat for £22’ deal. Picked 4 dishes and ordered some chips on the side. Honestly tiny portions. I know they were tapas/starters but we got (to feed 2 people!) 2 small dumplings as one dish. 4 small wontons. A few pieces of fried veg and literally 4 or 5 cubes of salmon. The chips were a tiny portion and cost £3.50 extra. I asked for salt and it came in an open dish so god knows what germs with people sticking their fingers in.

I did mention we were disappointed when we paid but I only got a half hearted apology. I’ve had to make myself something to eat when I got home! Waste of time and money. Oh and it took half an hour to come!!

Waiting 50 minutes for food after being told we had to be off our table by 8pm and the food was only served to us at 10 to 8! Then to have the snotty manager snatch the receipt out my hand and come back with an attitude that he had taken the drinks off but yet no apology for our terrible service, waitresses were lovely and apologetic but manager was disgraceful.

One of the cocktails were missing so asked a staff member if it had been forgotten about, they checked up and said it would be 2 minutes - 20 minutes later still no cocktail so asked staff at the bar to cancel the cocktail and bring bill to be told that it is ready and placed it on the bar, arguing that it was ready. Still told him we just wanted the bill and not a cocktail that's taken about 40 mins in total to prepare due to a drop of lads at the bar waiting to be seated ordering drinks and he was the only person on the bar. Had to get my wife to tell him she no longer wanted it and just wanted the bill before he agreed to send out the bill.

All this while there were members of staff stood at the bar.
