The staff are amazing here, the food is really tasty and well presented.

It somewhere grown ups and children can enjoy. Real fresh food not horrible frozen stuffs like in Frankie and Bennys.

This particular Byron is in a beautiful old building in newcastle aswell so aesthetically its a pleasure to sit in.

The General Manager is also wonderful and extremely Profesional. Best place i have found to eat out in years.

Pretty sure I have just had the world's nicest burger. Unreal. I might have to fly over once a week from Belfast just to come here. Staff so friendly and lovely atmosphere about the place

I want to say a big thank you to the lovely waitresses at Byron this evening. On arrival, we mentioned asked if they could accommodate us as we had Theatre tickets at 19.30 so only had half an hour to eat and they said the could. They took our orders really quickly and we got our food within 15 minutes then our bill as soon as we finished our meal. I am so grateful as we had both finished late so didn’t have long to eat before the show! Everyone was so nice and welcoming so thank you!

Highly recommended for burger lover, good services and absolutely will return again.

Great staff, great food, great drinks just love this place. The burgers cannot be beaten

User

Genuinely this place is marvelous. I am a repeat diner here because they do not disappoint. Friendly staff, awesome food (seriously, their burgers are to die for) and wonderful to my little boy. I cannot rate this place high enough!!!

First visit yesterday lunchtime. Absolutely loved it. Fab starter of chicken bites and then I ordered the chicken burger and sweet potato fries, my hubby decided on the hamburger and French fries......clear plates and full stomachs 10/10 will definately return, the staff were very friendly and attentive too !!

User

Fantastic place and the manager was so helpful can we steal her away for our bistro bar 😂

User

Easily the best of the "gourmet burger" restaurants to visit. Better than the rest. Met by a young moody staff member who decided to sit us upstairs, which was empty! Declined and sat downstairs with the other diners as there was at least 6 empty tables to choose from! Our waitress was friendly and served with a smile. Good choice of food and loved the fact I could get a grilled chicken burger without the dreaded panko breacrumbs! Very tastey and also convenient that i could buy the burger without sides. Will definately return.

Came here yesterday with my daughter for the first time. Initially, thought the entryway was a bit shabby, chipped paintwork etc so didn't have high expectations. I was wrong. Nice decor inside, roomy relaxed atmosphere. We did the lunchtime menu, £10 each inc a drink. Burgers were delicious, service was speedy and staff were lovely. Nice location being right beside the Metro too. Took away their cocktail menu for when I return for a night out with the girls. Definitely recommend

Best Bacon double cheeseburger I had in ages. Would recommend to anyone visiting Newcastle to pop in and try. They have very good selection of hamburgers. Money well spent.

User

Aah words can't describe how good the burgers where from here. Quite possibly the best burger I have ever had. My partner says the same also. If it wasn't for the fact we live in Scotland we would never be away. Proper burger indeed.

User

Very over priced for burger and chips but they are very nice indeed

User

Nice clean venue

Really enjoyed food - the burgers were delicious .

Staff friendly and helpful

Only downside - we were only halfway through our starter when our main course arrived so we felt quite rushed .

User

looks good from the outside, food was just mediocre though, good meat, cheese ok, fries were same as mc donald's, onion rings fried to death, service not impressive. At those rather high prices i expect more... disappointing.

User

Nice experience, typical burger bar, went with hubby who loves burger and he was impressed with his however I'm not a burger lover and the menu was limited for me, so opted for the skinny burger, the staff were pleasant but once we declined dessert they quickly put the bill on the table so an option for a second drink was obviously not a available.

User

went here for fathers day, sadly wanted the mushroom but they have stopped doing that :( so decided to get the new Beetnik which i have to say was nice. but since they dont do the Mushroom anymore, i dont think i shall be going back. staff were all very friendly so thanks to them

User

Far too pricey and overhyped. Cold food not great either. £12 for a basic burger and chips!! Wouldn't mind paying if it was worth it but with plenty of competition in Newcastle, I expected more. Much nicer food and better priced elsewhere. Will use our regular (competitor) from this point. Pretty empty on a busy Saturday afternoon-that speaks volumes!
