Captured Keepsakes Description
Hi, my name’s Sarah - mother of two and owner of Captured Keepsakes. I established the business in 2009, creating my own unique way of producing and displaying life casting and jewellery. During that time, I have built a reputation for providing quality bespoke keepsakes to lots of very happy parents, grandparents and families. Everything I make is made to order, creating unique artwork and jewellery for you to treasure forever.
We have recently opened the North East's only dedicated casting and keepsake jewellery studio in Prudhoe, Northumberland. The studio also houses a coffee shop, as well as a gift shop with British designed and made products from independent companies.
Craft drop in sessions are available for children and adult workshops are available to book.
Available to book for children's craft parties, group afternoon tea, or evening gatherings.

Ok, so I know I've been a bit quiet on here lately, but behind the scenes I've been busying away with loads of exciting projects. The first one I'm going to share with you is that we've been building a new studio! My amazing husband has been working so hard to get it finished and I'm hoping to be working away in it within the next few weeks 😀. * Edited to add that my hubby's just seen my post and noticed that for some reason the photos of him have been edited out when I adde...d the last few photos, so just to point out that's my father-in-law, not my husband in the video 😂. There's still a lot to do, but most of the building work is out of the way now and we're moving on to the plastering etc next week, so hopefully it will take shape quickly after that. The studio is still based at the same place, but accessed from the back of the building. I'll post more photos as I go, but for now thought I'd show you a little video of the progress so far.

We're very excited to be visiting Clart About Sensory Cafe again, but this time we'll be bringing a fabulous selection of our keepsake jewellery along with us! With Mother's Day just around the corner, this is the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a beautiful keepsake of your little one. Prices range from £30 for a handprint keyring or pandora style bead, £65 for an engraved hand and footprint necklace, £75 for a fingerprint pendant and £85 for a deep printed hand print pen...dant (with or without name on the front). As our jewellery is hand crafted, we can create one-off designs etc, so if you have a particular design in mind please drop in and have a chat.

We're so excited to be at Build-a-Bake in Corbridge tomorrow taking hand and foot prints for framed imprints. Well we're ready and raring to go! This is set to be a great event for all dog-lovers, taking place tomorrow morning at Prudhoe. We'll have everything with us if you'd like to have your dog's paw print taken for one of our gorgeous framed imprints (just £25)! It's only £2 to take part in the walk, with £1 going to RSPCA. If you'd like to take part in the walk you can either pay online by clicking on the event, or pay at Tyne Riverside Cafe in the morning. I'd love to see you and your fur babies, so please do come and say 'hi' if you come along :)

Well as today is 'Love Your Pet Day' I have an excuse to share a super cute photo of my gorgeous Evie 😍. If you've visited the studio you'll no doubt have had your fair share of cuddles, love and attention from this little lady! Bring your children and pets along to the Tea Junction on Sunday 3rd March to create a fabulous hand, foot, or paw print keepsake! Taking the print is straight forward with our super soft imprint clay and the appointment should take no more than 10 mins, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy some yummy food and drinks from the Tea Junction's tempting selection.
There is no upper or lower age limit and all pets are welcome!
... These are sure to be a huge hit, especially with Mother's Day just around the corner, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Price is just £25 and includes a framed print with name as in the photo above.

Wow, amazing customer service and amazing products. I ordered a personalised keyring on Tuesday night, I received it on Thursday morning, the keyring was better than I expected and will be now making a Christmas list ❤️
We got our hands casted by Sarah just before Christmas and they are absolutely amazing. I love looking at them and knowing what they stand for. They are sitting in pride of place on our coffee table. I also had a sneak peek at the shop this week and it is just fab!! Highly recommend seeing Sarah for anything lifecasting and personalised jewellery as well as popping into the shop to chill and enjoy a yummy cup of floral tea! xxx

On arrival we were shown how it all works and just how important it is to relax and let Sarah do her wonderful creations .... having an imprint of my child's feet and hands worn in jewelery is such a beautiful thing and this will be my very special Jewellery collection wats more I just love silver... now my sisters want their very own pieces for their grandchildren ... It's a breath of fresh air knowing that Sarah is very versatile in her work and doesn't flinch at a challenging commission... The end product was soooo worth it 💕 Ohhh I just love Captured Keepsakes💕...Thankyou for keeping my memories forever!

I received a amazing necklace with my 2 girls handprints on for Xmas , my husband has said how amazing they were with him as he works silly hours and worked round him and me being at work so I didn't know to get the handprints . Would 100% recommend them .
I ordered a personalised stamped cuff bracelet for my daughter - I was able to consult on the design all the way through the process, it was delivered promptly by recorded delivery and beautifully packaged and my daughter absolutely LOVED it, I really recommend this business! Thanks!

I have been a fan of Captured Keepsakes for over a year now since they made Harrison's first Christmas decoration, a co-ordinate bracelet for my mum's Christmas present, and a beautiful hand stamped rainbow key ring for me, but I finally had the opportunity to meet, the incredible talented, Sarah when I went over for my bump cast.
Castings are Sarah's ultimate passion and that was evident by the smile that permanently graced her face the whole way through the process. Every aspect of the process, she explained with beaming pride and joy. It's pretty hard not to be inspired by someone who has such a clear love for what they do, and impossible for that excitement not to rub off.
The casting process was more like a spa treatment and so relaxing (at 37 weeks pregnant, I've not been so comfortable in MONTHS!). The fact that it ends with such an incredibly special keepsake is even more amazing.
Oh, but the casts. WOW!
We had 3 different casts made:
1) A high definition bump cast
2) A high definition bump cast with my hands making a heart shape
3) A bump bowl
The final results will all be revealed in the next few weeks once they are completed, but the beauty of the casts was instantly clear from the casting process and raw results.
The detail in the casts, the beautiful nature of subject (the place where my babies began their lives), and the skill that is involved, all contribute to an incredible piece of art work that will be displayed in pride of place in my home.
Sarah was truly wonderful from the moment we first spoke to her about castings. So clear about what would be involved, and so helpful when organising the session. She was such a pleasure to meet and made me feel very comfortable (an impressive feat considering I was sat with my bump exposed in an unfamiliar environment).
If you're considering getting a bump cast, oh my goodness, DO IT! And, if you're in the north east of England, go and do it with Captured Keepsakes, who will soon be opening their studio in Prudhoe.
