An amazing last week with the best kids in Northumberland! Thank you to everyone for allowing me to be part of your children's lives it has been an honour and privilege. I will treasure the moments and memories for always.

Please could all parents who are transferring to coastal kiddies(Sarah and Donna) or Alison ensure that they have handed in their letter requesting details are transferred and and summer holiday cover requests are in. This will allow a more smooth transition for us all. Thank you.

a glimpse of our adventures lately.

The sun shone brightly on us today in South Shields. Visiting the sights and picnic style sausage and chips.

Lovely windmill adventure today, danced on a turbine! Spotted it from the other side of the river too.

This made our adventure to seahouses perfect! EPIC day out today. Lunch out and a boat trip once the fog lifted.

Lots of animals this week so far and adventures. Please can you check any cover required for half term week and be aware school has a teacher training day on 4th June. Thank you

Donnas wedding today a beautiful day for a beautiful bride. Our littlies all stood and waved her her off. - congratulations!

Some of my kids and others whom attend Ellington primary have chicken pox also sickness and dioreah. Please be aware of exclusion periods should your child seem unwell for their sake and the other children in our care. If you are unsure of which exclusions apply please ask.

As you should all be aware by now I am soon to cease childminding. My assistants are opening their own childminding and will be taking over some of the children to aid in continuity of care. I will miss all the children and have thoroughly enjoyed caring for them. It has been an honor to have so many people trust me with their most precious bundles. I will keep updating until the end of term and having lots of fun for you all to see, then pass over to Sarah and Donna.

I have had notice from a parent that one of the children who attends our setting has head lice, they have been treated and it is under control. Please check your children and treat as necessary. Thank you

Today we learned about the growth and development of apple blossom, we compared the pink apple to white cherry blossom and chose to make our own apple blossom sticks to take home. we made them on sticks we had collected in our morning adventure.

School photo day is Tuesday this week.

Caterpillar update... The first batch have upgraded their pad. An appropriate move for 'national first contact day'.

Our big caterpillars are getting ready to change. Our babies still very hungry. Hope your all enjoying Easter.

A little insight into our crazy bug party today! We are all shattered and hope your kids have had an amazing day. Littlies had a crazy party big kids enjoyed the bug games and mud cake with sour worms. Eugh!
