Come and join the Dead Sketch Society! This special 90 minute workshop with artist Amy Dover is all about drawing the wondrous world of natural history. Amy will be bringing her collection of found specimens; stuffed shrews, wasp nests, 500 million year old fossils and sparkling geodes, and guiding you through special drawing techniques. Get ready to play! MAPS Festival: Space Octave is a polyphonic playground, an interactive play experience in which children of all ages can work together to create a musical landscape. Coloured floor pads produce sounds and rhythms that can then be shaped using a series of interactive objects scattered around the space. The playground is part of MAPS Festival and will be housed BALTIC Centre For Contemporary Art from 22nd - 24th February.
