Our revised opening times are with immediate effect, chutney ma will be closed Sunday's other than bank holiday weekends which we will be open.

Easy peasy recipe! Tip time! Give this a try at home to accompany a delicious curry, these chapatis take less then 10mins to make and are a great alternative to supermarket bought, when you're looking for a quick fix.
You'll need! 2½ (300 gr.)cups of whole-wheat, white or chapati flour... 3 tablespoons vegetable oil ¾ cup (180 mL) warm water melted ghee or butter (which ever you have to hand)
How to make your chapati
•Place the flour in a bowl and mix in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. •Slowly add the warm water while stirring, until the dough comes together. Keep adding the water until the dough forms a ball. •Now take the dough and start kneading it on the counter. The dough should be soft, but not sticky enough to stick to your hands or the counter. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky, add more water if the dough is to dry. •Now rest the dough for 10 minutes •Roll out the dough in a large circle and spread out one tablespoon of vegetable oil over the surface of the dough. Now roll up the dough into one long roll. •Cut the roll into pieces slightly smaller then a golf ball. Heat your hob on low to medium heat •Roll out the first piece of dough as thin as possible (almost see through) Add a teaspoon of oil to the bread and place the first circle of dough in the hot hob. Cook untill bread puffs up and starts to turn brown. •Now flipover the chapati and brown the other side. •Remove from heat and let cool in a bowl or deep plate under a damp cloth. Cook the rest of your chapatis •If desired, brush the chapati with melted butter or ghee just before serving.

Well having sampled many dishes from copious amounts of Indian restaurants up and down the country, this is probably the best I've had. Absolutely gorgeous!

We visited Vermillion with our daughter on a Friday night and found this restaurant to be very stylish and welcoming. The food was fantastic and the waiters were so polite. We will definitely be going there again :-) x

We have been several times and we have enjoyed it every time .Food and service are excellent highly recommended

Lovely evening once again. Food is amazing and I can't fault the staff, polite and friendly. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Just had the best Indian meal ever. My lamb byriani was to die for! The lamb was perfectly cooked and was so soft. The food was faultless. Lovely staff & quick service too thanks vermillion

Had many takeaway's from Vermillion. Always excellent although some dishes could benefit from a bit more 'sauce' but that is just my personal preference! Some day we'll have time to eat in the restaurant....which is beautifully done. I have recommended many friends who love it too!

Had an absolute beautiful meal last night.....faultless. Excellent food, excellent service. Couldn't recommend this place enough x

I ordered from the £9.95 special menu and had boti kabab starter, chicken dupiaza, mushroom pilau and ice cream for dessert - food was first class and I can't wait to go back - well done vermilion .

Food is the best Indian food you will taste, right on my doorstep too . Perfect �
