It's with great sadness that our wonderful friend and colleague, Ann Brown passed away peacefully yesterday. Ann has worked for Citizens Advice for 21 years as a debt specialist and will be greatly missed. We are truly devastated - our condolences go to all the family at this sad time.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
Citizens Advice Hartlepool are looking for volunteers -
We are seeking to expand our team of volunteer advice workers - this is so that we can meet the demand of the local community. our volunteers come from all walks of life and you do not need any particular qualifications or experience to train as an adviser.
... You do need to:-
- Be available for 6 hours per week. (This is really important) - Be a good listener - Be able to work as part of a team - Be open minded and non judgemental - Enjoy helping people
In return, we offer you full training and support every step of the way. You will learn new skills and increase your self confidence and the training you receive leads to a nationally recognised qualification respected in many professions.
Above all, it's a chance to make a real difference as you will be playing an active part in improving local people's lives and influencing the development of national and local policies and services. You will meet a wide range of people and make new friends.
