We have been working in south shields for the past 7 months and been coming here since Deborah and Darren have been here they have made working away a lot Easyer with there friendly attitudes and banter the food is absolutely amazing especially since Grant has been in the kitchen we will be back see you soon xx

We had our beautiful wedding reception here and we can’t thank the Clover and Wolf enough, especially Deborah! Nothing was too much of an ask and all the staff were so lovely and helpful. We felt really cared for, it was so lush! Deborah was absolutely amazing, thank you so so much for everything you did to help our day go without a hitch. Words can’t express how thankful we are! All our guests loved the room and it was so beautiful! Our day was all the more special because of the Clover and Wolf and all their wonderful staff. Thank you thank you �

Visited the Re-Launch of the Carvery in this fab Venue today and have to say it was absolutely beautiful. The mash and yorkshire pudds were to die for and the meat cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend. They even offer a free dessert. The staff are very attentive and the New Management are very welcoming. Please give them a try you won't be disappointed

Thank you to the staff at my daughter's 21st party last night. Nothing was too much trouble and lovely buffet too.

Popped in off hand for a belated Mothers day treat with my mam and wasn't disappointed. The manageress is a lovely friendly lady and can't do enough for you. The drinks are more than reasonably priced as is the food. Ordered fish and chips and it was beautiful. Will definitely be back! 5*****

Me and my husband have not long had our wedding party here and would 100% recommend it the owners were so helpful and couldn't do enough to help, we thoroughly enjoyed our night thank you again!!!

Id like to thank the management and the staff at Clover and Wolf for all they did for our wedding. The food was fantastic. The DJ was super duper lovely. The girls in the bar were helpful and well mannered. A big Thanks to Debs and Darren for helping me plan and putting up with me when i was being picky � James and I had a wonderful day and we would highly recommend this place for any function. Nothing is too much for them. They really make you feel like family �� be seeing you again soon x

I had lunch here last week (mince and dumplings) absolutely fantastic meal and at last a bar that serves a decent pint of John Smith's.

I went back today and had a hot steak ciabatta and the best chips ever and a pint of JS again. The barmaid was lovely and the service was great. I will probably have to go back again soon � thank you

Had Christmas dinner here and honestly couldn’t fault it ... after a few years of disappointment from the previous owners it was a real joy to have everything just perfect. Food was amazing and hot (something the last owners struggled with) shoutouts to Scott the carvery dude and Lily the waitress who was a genuinely lovely person. New owners are lovely lovely people me and my family look forward to next years!!

Can’t thank staff enough for their help on Friday night after being let down by our DJ. They rang around to get a replacement but after that didn’t work they set up music and lights for us. Thank you sooo much it was really appreciated �

Been today for Sunday carvery. I'm not one for a carvery usually, but I couldn't fault this place. The meat just fell apart, vegetables fresh and home cooked and the yorkshires were just like my mam made....delish! Then I got a huge free dessert! I honestly don't know how they do it for the price. Probably be back next week.

Been in for the carvery today, food was absolutely beautiful and the service was brilliant. Will definitely be coming again and would highly recommend everyone to try it!

100% would recommend clover and wolf for any event, they went above and beyond for our wedding we loved every second of it the food and decorations were beautiful the staff were so amazing and friendly couldn’t fault it at all thanks so much for debs and Rachel because they did everything to make us happy and comfortable �

We held our sons baptism reception here on Sunday and it was fantastic !

The room was set up beautifully with crisp white tablecloths and the centrepiece balloons that i'd ordered. The staff were friendly and on hand to help with any queries and nothing was a bother to them. We were made to feel welcome and in no means were we made to feel hurried. Everyone commented on how lovely the place was and how lovely it was decorated. They also had lots of choice with regards to beverages. All in all a superb day. Thank you for everything Clover and Wolfe x

Beautiful room and food but 7-55 for a pint and two halves of pop for the kids is ridiculous. By the barmaids reasoning of 3-55 a pint and 2 quid each for a half that would make it 4 quid a pint for coke or orange and lemonade.



No wonder people drink drive !!!!! Only slight spoiler on an otherwise tremendous venue

been for lunch today while my food was lively hubbys was awful an not very hot sausage an mash swimming in gravy yuck my american chicken lovely tho

Came thro from Sunderland after much hoo in and harrin from the girls to find the "music" to soft the selection of drinks (gin) espesh to weak and the owner a bit lazy ( told one of the girls he had no lime left for here bottle of beer but there was a fridge full of lime ) needs atoms and a full length mirror in the ladies n better gin choice n that
