Join us for a relaxing, grown-ups only evening, paint whatever you like, however you like. Come and choose from a wide range of blank pottery pieces and create a design using a selection of brushes, stencils and tools. Our staff will be on hand for advice and tips. Tickets are £5 which is non-refundable however this is taken off your chosen ceramic item on the evening. Bring a bottle, relax and get creative!

We always said when our new business became established we'd use it to help raise money for charity. We're running another Sm'Arty Pants Story Time this month!
The hour-long session will include an age appropriate story, a related ceramic piece to paint, juice and a snack. Before the story starts children will be given the ceramic item so they can listen and start to imagine how they'll paint their piece.
This session will take place in Studio 2 which is up a flight of stairs. If you have accessibility concerns please give us a call.

Well... where to start? Great parking, super clean... loads of choice, reasonably priced and super helpful. My daughter and I just spent a lovely couple of hours here. Had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful time this morning. Lovely friendly staff, great cake. Happy to talk to kids and show them how the paints chamged. Kids where quietest they have been all holidays. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a fantastic time. I was perhaps a bit ambitious, attempting a toadstool fairy house while entertaining a 10 month old and keeping a 4 year old from covering himself in paint.

Perfect for all ages, so glad we have something within durham now.

Visited today with my little boy and niece and my mum, was great lots of fun lovely coffee and the pottery very reasonably priced will definitely be back again maybe even with out the kids so I can do my own masterpiece! Would definitely recommend this place it’s something a bit different.

Visited today with my 5 year old. She loved it and so did I. It’s reasonably priced with a nice range of items to paint and some great colours. There’s also a good selection of gluten and dairy free cakes. We will be back.

Visited today with my 2 granddaughters age 8 and 4. They absolutely loved it... and so did grannie. Great place for the whole family. Mellisa and Rich were very helpful. Had some lovely cake too. Will definitely be back soon.

Visited today kids loved it so did me and my husband. Its a great little family day out great fun for the kids and reasonably priced. Lovely coffee and cake aswel and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lookin forward to the finished result. � will go back again

Perfect afternoon!! A really relaxing environment, lots to choose from and really friendly staff. Proper coffee, great cake and brilliant service. A real hidden gem. We will certainly be back.

My daughters aged 4 and 7 had a lovely time here yesterday. There is a great choice of ceramics, gorgeous vibrant coloured paints, lots of design ideas, friendly and helpful staff.



We enjoyed it so much and are going again on Saturday!

Lovely place, have been twice now. Staff very helpful, already planning 3rd visit. It's a place not to be missed. If your looking for something to do over the summer, this is it ! Large selection/range of pottery so doesn't need to be expensive. Coffee and cake too while you work so who can ask for anything more. Well done guys .

Lovely little studio. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There are a range of pottery items to suit all budgets and there are some lovely pieces. My daughter and niece loved it and we will be back. They also do coffee and cake so it's all good!

I’ve now visited the studio twice and on both occasions I had a fab time. Taking the time to paint some pottery with my children was so therapeutic and I’m now addicted. I highly recommend this place to all my friends.

I visited the studio today with my 2 little girls. Ruby is 5 and Eva is 3. As soon as we entered Richard was so so helpful! He was brilliant with the girls and put them at ease straight away. There is a lovely selection of pottery to choose from, starting from £5 so something for all budgets. Richard went through all the options with paint and different ideas etc and then the girls were let loose to create their masterpiece. Eva (3) started to loose concentration after an hour (she did well!) however Richard noticed and brought her some crayons and paper, lovely touch as it meant Ruby did not have to rush as she was really enjoying herself. Such a fab little find, we can’t wait to collect our artwork and will definitely be visiting again! 5 stars from us. Thank you
