Another 2018 job and a first for me.
I was contacted about doing a repair on a PlayStation with a damaged hdmi connector.
A simple repair or so it seems. ... Difficulty stems from the boards heat dissipation ability making it difficult to remove the port with out damaging the board.

Another 2018 job.
Back in August I was approached by a customer to come up with a gaming computer for their child that was ‘future’ proof and capable of playing games at a 4K resolution.
Months where spent doing research to find the most cost effective options and a delay because of the Nvidia RTX 2080 ti graphics card being released.
... System was set up and installed just prior to Christmas and it looks fantastic!

An investigation from earlier in the year.
A local business had issues with a USB port on their main reception laptop. After investigating it was found that just through general wear and tear the USB port was moving which was cutting the data connection and power lines.
The cpu exhaust was also unblocked.

Another investigation from earlier in the year.
A game pc with a ram upgrade that caused the pc to not boot up, despite the ram “technically” being correct. It was a speed sensitive motherboard that would only work with a slightly slower speed.

Here is a small home office set up that was researched and set up in May, with requirements of being able to print out photos from the laptop and an iPad.

Due to being rather busy through out the year I never got the chance to post up some of the jobs I’be been doing. Multiple posts to follow.

Working hard today while the supervisor over sees.

Here we a “vintage” Apple MacBook Pro which Apple say can’t be made to run faster as they prefer you to buy a brand new one.
Customer requested a memory upgrade and overall speed upgrade, which was achieved by fittings solid state hard drive and new ram memory modules.
Installed programs needed to be preserved also and creative method to clone a bigger drive on to smaller one was devised.

Here is something to watch out for.
While doing some research for a current job I'm working on, I was greeted by this intrusive pop which I was diable to disable.
This is one ddesigned to make you panic and call them.
... Don't fall for it.

This laptop had an unfortunate experience with a power surge and unfortunately died, but not for long.

A White iphone 7 screen replacement with some extra details.

A Samsung phone with quiet ear piece required an investigation. Thankfully no new parts where needed.

A home visit to replace faulty lcd laptop screen. The screen had no cracks but had developed an issue causing a white screen.

Computer Force has gone through the verification process on Facebook and has a verified business status.

Here we have laptop which was subject to an accidental liquid spill. After having identified what was preventing the computer from turning on the other issue could be dealt with.

Newest addition to the work bench, this should lead to new types of repairs in the future!

It seems I’m not immune to battery problems causing issues with iPhones. Here is my work phone having been out of action since Friday as I didn’t have the spares on handto fix it. New screen and battery.

Working today. Third job of the day is an iPhone 6 with cracked glass and faulty battery.
