Would just like 2 say thank u 2 the staff at my daughter's pool party 2day.. reacting quickly when 2 of the kids got in 2 a bit of difficulty.. and when my daughter had a nose bleed.. keep up the good work!!!

User

We took my little girl to clip and climb for the first time today, she turned out to be a right little chicken bless her but the staff were amazing and reassured her! They were all brilliant with the children, especially Tom who went to rescue my little one more than once . Will definitely be going back soon.

User

Took my 2 year old bowling a few days ago and we literally had the place to ourselves. I then took her swimming today and we both absolutely loved it. We have attended birthday parties at the softplay before, but after reading negative comments about the swimming pool, we decided to just bite the bullet and give it a go. I now regret waiting so long to try the swimming pool. The swimming pool was good temperature, lots of water fountains and even a slide for my 2 year old. We found the changing rooms faultless. The staff at reception were nice and friendly. Overall we loved it.

User

My daughter loves this softplay, and it is one of the cleanest softplays we go to. It is enclosed (only one way in and out) so at least you can keep an eye on the children leaving/entering the big frame. My daughter is three, and it’s big enough for her (and wears her out) - we will definitely be back a lot more times :-)

User

Just been to clip and climb for the first time with our 7 year old daughter. She was a lil nervous at first but her guide elliot was totally amazing with her and had so much patience with her and he deffo made it fun for her

User

We went today as a group of adults and 2 children. I must say I was impressed with the facilities. The 6 year old loved the pool and we all had fun. Wasn't too busy. The sand underfoot is off-putting though and the changing rooms were a little dated (hubby also said the urinals in the men's were completely backed up and had standing water in them, yuck). I don't know why they throw people out so quickly though, they seemed quite strict on this. We usually use the north Tyneside pools and have never been kicked out yet (think some do do that though but with a considerably longer time). We only got an hour in there and it wasn't busy. All the staff were miserable too. Could be amazing there.

User

Visited clip and climb yesterday with my daughter for the 1st time and she loved it .....will definitely be back only down side is the staff who were clipping on the kids to the walls were the most miserable staff I've ever met the only 2 staff that spoke to my daughter were the 2 lads ....I think that they could interact more with the kids and be a little bit more enthusiastic about their jobs instead of talking about their night out !

User

Think it’s a great place just wish they would clean the bottom of the pool there’s always sand and grit

User

Love concordia, been using the place all my life since it opened, but the mens toilets downstairs opposite the 5 a side courts have never had a good scrub with bleach since it was opened in 1977. The urinals have got brown stains on and the sinks are disgusting. Im gonna do them myself shortly as its doing my head in.

User

Just came out of a clip n climb session with 10 kids- they have had an amazing time, staff have been absolutely fantastic, we will definitely be coming back- thank you

User

Always a good place to go too. But think the changing facilities for families is very poor for the swimming pool. Only 4 cubicles for families with small children. And yesterday 21st feb swimming started at 10 30am and all the family cubicles were been used by oaps who had been doing water aerobics. Surely they should use the main changing facilty.

User

After reading all your reviews I wondered if it was even worth my time writing this as it's very noticeable you do not respond the comments left by dissatisfied customers.

However my only gripe is the sand in the pool which after reading other reviews going back into the later half of last year has still not been resolved. Makes me question how often you actually service and clean your pool

User

Very cold water and changing rooms 😳😳 was the same the night before for aqua aerobics

User

Every other leisure centre has a live feed for how busy it is. As school hols I checked as will be busier than usual. Concordia not live and had to wait an hour to go swimming! Will go elsewhere next time.

User

Been quite a while since I last visited Concordia but decided it was time we started doing a bit of exercise. What a shock I got when I saw the new prices £10.00 for a badminton court and once you book it and pay you can’t get your money refunded if you have to cancel!! So I booked court E and when we got there we found a table tennis table on our court, I informed the receptionist only to be told to use the other court until it was removed. 1 hour later, after we had finished, the table was still on the court. Luckily no one wanted the court we were having to use...

User

hi i took my 15 month old into the mini zoo play area and it seemed to be full of much older children who were running wild, he was almost flattened by a much older boy who jumped on top of him, no supervision or concern from staff or selfish parents for the safety of peoples babies disgusting! there's a bigger part for their older children to play so no need at all to be in a baby/toddler area!

User

What happened to jounior games and things for the kids? All about how much they can squeez out of you now! Shame

User

Total waste of my time,

Wanted a single gym session to which I was told I could only use the weights and NO cardio because I need a special card and I needed to download an app plus I had to have an induction!

But you have to book an induction, obviously!

That's No good to me, so it should be half price because I'm only allowed to use half the equipment..... but no.

Looking online before I set off their was no mention of this.

To whom it may concern

I am writing to let you know how dissatisfied I am with the whole experience today.

Firstly clip n climb, there was not enough staff to accommodate the children, so a lot of the time the children spent with their arms in the air waiting on staff.

Secondly I was not informed I would be sharing the party room with 2 other parties! This was absolute chaos! Three different parties trying to sing happy birthday over the madness of 30 random kids in the room.

The food was a disgrace, I did mention and return the fish finger meal as the fish was grey/black in colour and rock hard! One meal was dropped on the floor and then scooped back in the box and handed to the child. Juice was placed on the table with a packet of sweets (not enough for party size) whilst the children had to wait 20 minutes for their food to arrive, so when it did they had no drink to accommodate their meal.

I left feeling embarrassed for my guests, disappointed for my son and appalled by the whole experience.

I would appreciate your comments
