Visited contemporary for the first time last week after being recommended my family. Booking the appointment was easy and flexible around my awkward shift patterns with extensive opening times. Attended the salon which was clean, modern and comfortable. I was offered a complimentary head and shoulder massage which was unexpected but lovely. Beth was aware of my ‘hair scare’ after some bad experiences elsewhere and did everything to ensure I felt listened to & this was reflected in all aspects of my visit from wash, to treatment/products, cut and style! Thank you so much for putting me at ease and making my hair look so good again! I can’t wait to visit again soon! ���

Thank you so much to all the girls at contemporary hair, you all made me feel welcome and looked after me so well, especially as I was there nearly 5 hours, a special thank you to Vicky who got me back from bright red to a beautiful blonde brown which I absolutely love, highly recommend this place !!

It was my first time visiting the salon and I will be a returning customer! Felt completely at ease the whole appointment and Beth was really easy to talk to and knew exactly what I was looking for.

Love my new colour, my hair now looks and feels so much healthier.

Katie has cut my hair and has understood what I wanted and has produced a great style. I have also had my hair coloured on training mornings on several occasions and have been delighted with the result and the price.

I have my hair cut and coloured by Beth every 6 weeks. She's absolutely fab and a total colour expert. All of the girls in the salon are so welcoming, I feel like part of the furniture whenever I visit and they make me (and my energetic toddler!!) feel very welcome. Keep up the hard work girls. I cannot praise Vicky enough. She turned me from a bald lady to someone with gorgeous dark flowing locks! Anyone suffering from hair loss must go and see her for a consultation, they will not look back! Thank you for being so amazing! �

Had my first ever visit last week after there was an offer. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to me and my 3 yr old son. Complimentary head and shoulder massage which I wasn't expecting but was nice. Then getting my hair washed sat on massaging chair could have happily fallen asleep I was that relaxed. Had a treatment used which was nice and although it wasn't washed out properly first time meant I got a longer chance to sit on those fab chairs! Both me and my son were offered refreshments and the haircut is lovely and was given some lovely compliments from my friends that evening. Thank you soo much I will definitely visit again it was a perfect Christmas treat to myself!

Contempory hair salon is wonderful great staff who work their very professional & do my hair how I like it so pleased Iv found the perfect salon after a few years trying different ones! ☺️ you walk out feeling great!!

Called up this morning with a (mammoth) knot emergency and was invited down to the salon having never been before. Spent a long time brushing through what the stylist was able to get out before coming to a joint decision to cut it out. I asked for my hair to be washed and blasted dry to ensure my hair looked alright once washed again and it was no bother. After the whole process I was told the whole thing was free of charge and offered advice on products to use as well as given a new client offer card. Really appreciated all the help given to me today and would highly recommend.

Beth you're a super star!! Always love what you do to my hair, it's perfect every time!! I couldn't recommend a better hairdresser, Thank you xx

Beth has done my hair a few times now and I have to say every single time she nails the cut and colour I ask for, she is brilliant and super friendly! A great salon with a welcoming atmosphere....I can't recommend it enough!

Been today for my first visit and was very impressed! A welcoming happy atmosphere and knowledgeable staff! Can't wait for my next visit on 8th March to start the colour change. Thank you Katie - you made what is normally a chore an absolute pleasure and to top it all I love my locks!! �
