Just a little update on the past week now that I've a moment to reflect on the past few months... It was 8 months ago when we discovered this devastation, the arson attack which destroyed our lovely little cafe. Amazing support and generous fund raising enabled for us to progress to this ... We had a fabulous open day last week the turn out was amazing lots of familiar faces and many new ones, the weather was perfect and I certainly enjoyed the atmosphere (special thank you t...o the team of trusty helpers). Since then we have had very busy, fun days, our feet have hardly touched the ground, Sam was amazing as usual and we loved working in our new space, kitchen is a dream (thanks to super Stew). I can't thank you all enough for helping us to achieve what we have, isn't it great when you love your job???Onwards and upwards. Lots of love, Rosie 😘. Ps big thanks also to Darren, Eric and Jack for the photos xx

Since the arson attack that devastated our precious little Cozy Coffee last September we have been very busy establishing this business again. Due to amazing funding and massive support this has become a reality! Our new venture is ready to reopen and we'd love to share it with you all. We've chosen to launch our new bus cafe on this day as an opportunity to view, catch up, meet new people and reintroduce yourselves to Cozy Coffee. There will be complimentary teas/coffee and yummy BBQ sausages (at a small cost) should you be hungry! πŸ™‚ We are very excited and again so grateful for your continued generosity and support, this couldn't happen without you. Let's hope the sun shines and we all have a super time! β˜•οΈπŸŒžπŸ°

Under normal circumstances we would have been celebrating the 3rd birthday of Cozy Coffee today with our usual balloons, cakes and 'special' drinks! Instead we've been laying paving flags, bits of plumbing and cleaning inside the bus ready for our opening day!! It's getting very close to the big day and rather exciting, things are looking good and it's all very positive!! Hope to keep you posted on dates very soon, so please keep checking this page. Incidentally the blackened wooden post (in the photo) we're hoping to keep is the only remaining feature from the original Cozy Coffee!! See you soon xx

User

Even our tables have had a makeover this week!! Massive appreciation to the boys , Kev, Les and Pete!! Big bacon buttie thank you coming your way!! Xx

Well as far as good ideas go that was absolutely one of my better ones!! We had a wonderful few days at our pop up Cozy Coffee, the weather was perfect and we felt like we were on holiday!! A massive thank you to all who came and supported us, it was amazing to see so many regular, sunny, friendly faces!! We are now in full throttle towards finishing the bus and hopefully won't be too long now. Must say thank you to Sam, working with you is such fun!!! See you all soon! Onwards and upwards!! Xx

We will be serving tea/coffee, some cold drinks, a selection of cakes ( the old favourites included!) and some filled rolls. (Please do not expect anything too fancy!!) If you're out for a cycle ride/stroll or just want a good old catch up, pop over, it'll be fab to see you!! Fingers crossed the weather is as promised! Xxx. 10.30am -3.00pm.

Thank you for all your likes, comments and shares on my last post! I'm now asking for more advice......SECURITY....obviously due to the past history of Cozy Coffee this is of utmost importance! I'm looking for recommendations of security people who can pop out and advise us on the best route to take, also anyone out there who works in roller shutters??? Thanks in advance!! Xx

What a fab little place. Rosie is fabulous and the place is oozing with individuality. A gem of a find. Gorgeous cake, lovely coffee and my little boy loved the milk shake. Cant wait to go back!!! Love it!

User

We absolutely adore Rosie's place. It's welcoming, there's great food (crepes!) and her cakes are to die for. It is so child friendly especially with warmer weather. If you don't fancy sitting outside it is recommended to call ahead as she has 4 tables inside. Cannot recommend this enough. Thanks Rosie! X

User

Very nice and good service. The girl serving is very chatty and makes you feel at home. Lovely food

User

Stopped at Cozy Coffee Γ©n route to Barnard Castle and it's a great pit stop. Set in the entrance of a field with beautiful scenery- the coffee bus can be easy to miss, hidden behind hedges with little/no signage on a rural back-road, but it's definately worth putting in your sat nav!... Good mocha, bacon & egg roll was good and a slice of very tasty mocha cake went down well!.. friendly lady that will probably do my egg a little runner if I ask, very tidy place with single shed toilet that is very clean and spacious. 5 star (y)

User

Service is excellent and the location is fabulous. We stopped by to meet up with partners who were out cycling and really enjoyed the view. There was a choice of refreshments with even 3 choices of coffee. The cakes and scones were fresh and I will definitely be going back. Dishes dotted about for dogs with water and they even offered to top up the cyclists water bottles as well.

User

Rosie's cafe is the best. Can't wait for her to open again. !! Good luck Rosie !!

User

Outstanding. Welcoming, friendly. These are just a few remarks I could make about this remarkable little coffee shop. The food was homemade and beautiful and coffee delicious. We will be back.

User

One of my favourite pit stops when out in a cycle route.

Perfect little place with great coffee and beautiful bacon buns.. run by a fantastic host.

Would recommend this place to anyone passing the area, no matter how you get there!

User

Lovely afternoon spent at Cozy coffee with my friend and kids. The kids loved running about and playing games in the sun. Great hospitality from the hostess 'lady' Rosie and apart from the lovely cuppa and banana cake I also managed to go home with a bale of straw too - they sell everything β˜•οΈ

User

Just had a lovely lunch and a coffee. Real friendly and quirky little place.

User

Just fabulous ... such a perfect setting , lovely friendly staff and wonderful home made cakes ( my daughter said it was the best chocolate brownie cake she had ever had !! )

User

Just back from my second visit, after discovering this place a couple of wks ago. Perfect little place, perfect setting , so friendly and welcoming...and very yummy cake!

User

If you want to chill, this is the place to be. Went today for the first time, was made very welcome, food / service was bang on. Even the dogs enjoyed themselves lol :)

User

Hidden gem set in beautiful countryside. Mine Hostess is Rosie and attended to all our needs in a friendly and warm way. Our bacon butties were mouth watering and we'll definitely be back to try the Cake. Lovely location and great Cozy Cafe.

User

First visit this morning , great sausage sandwich and pot of tea thank you .

But it was long walk home for me as after I had eaten I had a puncture in my bike.

P.s cakes were nice that I took home

User

Discovered this little gem today, very friendly, warm and welcoming, delicious fish finger sandwich and wonderful coffee, the scones weren't bad either think it may become a regular coffee stop

User

Called in today, fab service, very friendly, nothing is too much trouble, would recommend to anyone.

User

A quirky little cafe which we popped into in way home. Youngest son had been poorly in the night so the fishfinger sandwich was just the ticket. Bacon butty and scrambled eggs also delicious. Lovely, friendly service and excellently quirky, will be back soon!

User

A little gem of a place
