Darlington Belongs To God

Thanks to everyone who joined us yesterday and through the night - different denominations, different generations toddlers and grandparents. The movement was described by one church as ‘quietly bubbling away, praying for the town’. We like that!! We’re excited that the next date for your diaries is the weekend of the 26th-28th April - hopefully at Kings church. Details coming soon!

Not long to go until the next opportunity to pray continuously for our town for 24 hours @ Elm Ridge Methodist Church. We would love you to join us for any time that you can between 9am Saturday morning and 9am Sunday morning.

Not long to go!!! Join us at Haughton Methodist Chapel from midday tomorrow for another 24 hours of prayer for the town. Come for as little or as long as you want.

NEXT 24 HOUR PRAYER - Saturday 13th October 12pm - Sunday 14th October 12pm at Haughton Methodist Chapel. It would be awesome to see people from churches all over the town using the prayer space to encounter God and pray for Darlington and its people.

Our third day of prayer completed - thanks to everyone from churches all over Darlington who came and prayed with us. Particular thanks to Graham and Kath Jones for their fab work preparing the space. Please, please keep praying for the North end of town tonight it’s been a troubling 24 hours for residents with a series of incidents. More of God would be great...

Just a reminder about our next 24 hours of prayer for our town and its people. Friday 12 noon until Saturday 12 noon @ Northlands Community Hosting Space on North Road (opposite Denmark Street). Space, prayer stations, tea, coffee, biscuits and time with God. What’s not to like? 🙂

15 days to go...part of our prayer stations this month will be praying for particular streets. There will be an opportunity to commit to praying for your own street and/or adopted streets. Hi everyone - more dates for your prayer diaries! Really excited to let you know that our next two 24 hours of prayer for Darlington will take place on 17th-18th August at Northlands Community Hosting Space and 12th-13th October in Haughton (venue tbc). Join us as we pray for God's kingdom to be built in our town - for healing, wholeness and life in all its fullness to become the characteristics of the places where we live. Another day of prayer for Darlington done. HUGE thanks to Graham and Kath Jones for their organisation and (to Graham) for pretty much doing the full 24 hours!!! Let us know if anyone has any ideas for future 24-1 prayer. Plans for summer/autumn already in the pipeline. God is good, Darlington is good & Darlington belongs to God 🙂

ONE DAY TO GO! We would still love people to come and pray between 4-6pm (through a sound check but still fun :-)) on Friday and also 6am-8am on Saturday morning. We're going to re-locate prayer stations to the church hall after the worship event has finished. If you're planning to come down but haven't signed up it would be great if you can add your name to the sign-up sheet. Looking forward to another exciting time of prayer together.
