We now stock Pet Remedy, Pet Calming Products…
Pet Remedy works alongside the brain’s natural ‘messengers’ called neurotransmitters, which work by telling the nerve receiving the message either to calm (via GABA pathway) or get ‘fired up’. In times of stress or anxiety the nerves get over stimulated, which leads on to the many different signs of stress we see in our pets. The special Pet Remedy blend of essential oils is valerian based and works alongside these natural relaxation pathways to help calm the nerves of anxious or stressed pets. Always consult your vet if your pet shows signs of stress or you observe any behavioural changes.

As well as a book sale we would like to have a "Cakey Bakey" day too to raise money for Animal rescues.
We thought we'd just put the feelers out first to see if any of our lovely clients & friends would bake / donate some cakes etc. We made £100 last year but would love to smash that this year.
Would you leave us a comment please if you could help. We are planning to do this on or around the 24th of September.... 🎂 Thanks in advance 🎂

What a wonderful vets, I wish I'd known about you sooner. The staff are all amazing and so helpful. I work in a boarding kennels so I've been recommending you to all our customers. Thanks very much from me & my furbabies.

User

Well i'd much rather do the 50 mile roundtrip to DVC than use any of my locals.First class caring attitude is obvious as soon as you speak with Rebecca and you are told exactly what is needed not from a vet but from someone that comes across as a friend that really cares about your pet.

My dog went through the mill a bit yesterday with essential surgery, but distance was no problem as i was sent a text message saying everything went well and i could come back up to collect him.we were worried sick due to previous experiences but no need this time.

Picked him up and all meds instructions were clear and simple from Rebecca she explained everything in detail what had been done and what i had to do once i got him home.Iv'e never in 40 year felt as happy leaving a vets as i did yesterday.to top it all i even got a message this morning asking how My dog was doing today, tippity top and the best vets iv'e ever visited.needless to say the word is being spread amongst all my friends.

We love this place so caring helpful people for all our animals great advise quick service friendly happy place thank you for all you do

User

This vets is the best in the town after 2 appointments they found out what was wrong with my dog I would recommend this vets to everyone and will be spreading the word at how good it is

User

Thank you so much to Becky for being absolutely brilliant with my nervous GSD & taking the time to come up with a plan that worked for his needs! Hopefully he’ll now be able to get the relief he badly needed. x

Recently changed to this vets after becoming disillusioned by the apparent "selling culture" of my previous vet. My border terrier puppy has just had to have an emergency op for stomach problems and Becca and her team were fantastic. Can't recommend them enough - totally caring, professional, efficient and reasonably priced. Rosie is now on the mend!

Thank you

User

Rebecca, who was the Vet radiographer for my dogs, is also the practice owner. A nice, kind and humble person who actually seems to care. She was calm and measured and explained things well. Her nurses and reception were also very nice and helpful. Thank you very much for today !

User

My dog came in for a few teeth to be removed yesterday and the vets were fantastic! We’ve recently moved from another vets and he’s always been very nervous when going there. However, this time he was happy and jumping... which tells me everything.

I could not recommend them enough, they spent time going over the procedure and the aftercare. It was not rushed and clearly they think more about the animals rather than the money!

User

Lovely team, thank you so much for acting so quickly and saving Bella's life, after eating a large amount of sugar free chewing gum.

User

Lovely place. Here quite a lot at the moment with our frenchie, but can't rate it highly enough. We are always made to feel welcome and never feel silly for asking 'daft' questions. The staff are all so friendly and are so good with our Buzz, he actually seems happy every time we go in! Would definitely recommend.

User

I’ve used Darlington Vet Clinic a few times now and I’m extremely impressed with there service l, totally different to other vet practices, allowing me to stay with my dogs while they were getting there hips X-rays done so I was present when they weee knocked out and when they came round. Would definitely recommend them

User

I can’t recommend this vets enough they are so helpful understanding and love all the animals so much thank you Becca for being their for Eco till the end

Have been coming here for almost 2 years now but the last few weeks we have been a little more often! Firstly my dog Harley went missing, the vets were extremely supportive, sharing my missing post then ringing to check on her. Fortunately she was found the same day and they immediately allowed us to go and get her checked for injuries.

The following week she was due to be spayed, the Vet discovered a heart murmur so we postponed. After a simple referral to Wear valley vets (fortunately paid by insurance!) we were told she was at no extra risk to have the op.

We went back to get Harley spayed on 1st June, it was done really well and the scar was tiny. I can’t believe how quickly it healed and Harley was back to normal.

Really lovely, friendly staff and a great vet practice

Thanks from Harley and Logan :)

Experts with Greyhounds and fantastic today with our old boy who needed 23 teeth out. It was half the cost others had told me, wish we'd seen them sooner!

Cannot say enough thankyous to Becky, the new vet at Darlington Vet Clinic who performed Angel's cruciate ligament op. She is totally supportive of my wishes to use homeopathic remedies for anti inflammatory, healing, liver support and detox from anaesthetic in conjunction with the traditional antiobos. Accepted my " NO metacam, loxicam or opiods " for painkilling as Ange has no spleen, and found less toxic alternatives. Plus a superb operation.. clean, neat and healing extremely quickly. What an asset she will be....only been there a few weeks...but more than delighted with her operation, after 2 weeks in dilemma trying to decide if surgery WAS really the way to go. No regrets and after just 5 days post-op, having followed her instuctions re physio excercises, my girl is already starting to use the leg! All the staff here are lovely, including of course, Becca the owner...and their follow up service is superb and caring. Thanks again to Becky for everything.. including 2 calls on her day off to check Angel's progress. xxx

User

Can't thank these vets enough fitted us in straight away when our cat got run over great service lovely people

User

As a fellow vet who had the privilege to work at DVC a little bit recently as a locum, I can only say I would recommend this clinic and it's caring staff to anyone in this area. Good facilities, great vets but most of all; time for and dedication to each and every patient that walks through the door, with a practical and no-nonsense approach. If I didn't like my horse work so much, I would take a job here any day of the week.

User

An absolutely fabulous vets! Great people and they have been amazing with all 4 of our dogs!! At this practice they understand the owner aswel as your pet and nothing is too much trouble. So if your looking for understanding professional trustworthy care this is your place!! Thankyou guys for everything

After adopting an older dog from Dogs Trust we registered him with this vet after reading the good reviews. Have to say could not be happier. She's such a lovely vet, very caring & explains everything clearly. Our dog loves going too so that's 5 stars from all the family! :)
