Well, what can we say....a wonderful experience from start to finish! My 14 year old daughter had a dream come true having a photoshoot session with Josh for her birthday. She was made to feel comfortable and like a real life superstar throughout, in a fantastic, modern studio....we were always expecting great quality photos from Lawson Studios, but were stunned at just how good they were. Josh managed to turn sophies simple poses into shots fit for any top glossy magazine cover. The memory box we bought will be treasured forever ÔŅĹThank you Josh!

We had Josh as our photographer for our wedding at Lumley Castle on 22/12/2017 and we can’t thank him enough for the service provided.



Right from the moment we met Josh we instantly liked him and he was very patient and accommodating with what we wanted.



On the day of the wedding Josh was very calm and even gave me (the bride) a lift from the salon to my Mams as we were running a bit late on the day! His knowledge of the castle was impressive and he got some truly unique shots, both during the day, and in the evening, when the castle looks particularly incredible.



The album and framed picture we have received are beautiful and we have some wonderful memories of an amazing day.

The most amazing photographers and studio.. We wouldn‚Äôt go anywhere else! We Even drove all the way from Lincolnshire to have photographs taken of my children ÔŅĹ here! David and Josh are so friendly and inviting, and always put you at ease, even my children behaved themselves whilst having their photographs taken by Josh, which is a first for them to sit still for longer than 30 seconds!.. had lots of other photographs took here and David done our wedding photographs too, it was autumn ÔŅĹ time and the colours that he caught up in the pictures are just fabulous!!

Josh took some photos for Smokefreelife County Durham as part of our No Smoking Day community promotion. Josh completely understood the need to capture natural shots of our advisors engaing with clients, resulting in some amazing shots that we will use for our promotional material. He was discreet and extremely professional throughout the shoot but also engaed well with clients and staff alike, bringing a lovely mix of humour and friendliness. I cannot recommend this studio highly enough for anyne wanting to promote their business. We will not hesitate to use them again for future promotion.

I won a competition a while back for a family portrait. I waited till I had my 2nd little boy and came into the studio and got the shoot done by Josh who had a lot of patience with my 2 ÔŅĹ as all they done was cry and my eldest just wouldn‚Äôt keep still, he was brilliant with us all and is brilliant at he‚Äôs job. We came back a few weeks later to see the results of them and I was over the moon I wanted all 29 of the photos that had been took but we managed to narrow it down to 5 we have just recieved our free photo which I‚Äôm in love with and also recieved our 5 digital photos that we bought and can‚Äôt wait to see them. I was lucky enough to have won a competition for a portrait to be taken and couldn't be more happier with the whole experience. Josh made us feel so welcome and at ease and was brilliant with our 10 month year old who seemed to have lost his smile on two separate occasions, but josh was excellent, it didn't phase him what so ever and finally the little one smiled.
