Dolphin Tavern, Penzance

What’s to like about the Dolphin? It’s open after three (a rare phenomenon in Cornwall) well all day actually, it has great service, it’s dog friendly and is WiFi equipped. Everything the modern family needs. Oh and I nearly forgot the food is absolutely delicious!

This has to be the best place to eat in Penzance...actually the best place to eat in all of Cornwall. The food is amazing. I can highly reccomend the mushroom sizzler. The menu is very well priced and the food beautiful. The icing on the cake was the exceptional service from the staff. Thank you dolphin tavern.. I shall come again.

Superb food staff and atmosphere. We come as a group with our vintage bus for the weekend and are well looked after.

Lovely pub, helpful, friendly staff and amazing food. Will definately go there again soon ��

Lovely pub filled with lots of interesting local pictures and maritime “stuff”. The food was yummy, we couldn’t visit Penzance and pass by the chance of the fresh fish dishes - not disappointed they were gorgeous. And next time we’d probably stay there as well as the rooms looked great.

Had the catch of the day and it was fantastic. Great size portion and cooked to perfection. As always the service was superb. Thanks to all the team.

Great early tea tonight after a king drive to Newlyn. Delicious fresh herb crumb hake and new potatoes �. Definitely recommend

Food was amazing and the staff were very friendly, best food we've eaten all week

Fab meal and it’s just lovely. Traditional. Second time here and may reserve a table tomorrow as don’t want to miss out not getting a table. Such lovely food xxx

Catch of the day was a very nice haddock and the steak was very good too. In company with three others only dropped one star from all of us.

After the most wonderful swim and sunbathe at Jubilee Pool, with lots of space to spread out, and fresh warm sea water to recharge our batteries, we ambled around the corner to The Dolphin, WOW, the most awesome and generously lavish Newlyn Crab sandwiches, so tasty, reasonably priced, washed down with the most crisp, fresh pint of Carlsberg, no nasty after taste, no hint pump cleaning solutions and a wonderful and polite but friendly service by a well known thesbian. Thank you madam x
