This morning we had some special visitors, County Durham & Darlington Fire & Rescue Service came to preschool. The children loved the experience and got the chance to use the hose to spray the grass. We originally had a visit planned a few weeks ago, but the engine was called away to an emergency, we are very grateful that they were able to arrange an alternative visit today, before the children finish for the summer break in two weeks time

We still have a few parents not using our Famly app, it has details of your child's progress and we regularly share photos and events to the system, we just need you email address dropping in the office or you can PM us via messenger :)

Our book this week has been 'Seaside, below is a couple of photos of some of the activities relating to it from today. As a treat we had real ice-cream this afternoon to help us cool down.

We held our Emergency Evacuation Drill this morning - All the children did really well. 'That was a fire' 🚒 one of the children told me as we went back inside, it was a drill I told him, off he went & came back with a toy & said this is a drill - yes you've guessed it a toy drill 🤣

Remember it's our toddler this morning, parents are welcome to join us, if it isn't your child's normal session you are welcome to bring them along to join in. Funds raised will be used towards an end of term treat for the children.
