Eastgate Cottages

Pleased to see our customer electric car charging point is getting used this week.

Maybeck Cottage has undergone a full refurbishment; being painted throughout, new sofa and chair and new carpets, rug and blinds. We have a couple of weeks at the end of March with availability, short breaks or full weeks. Why not come and see the improvements on this already very popular cottage.

We have been busy buying new sofa's for some of the cottages. Here we have Readman Cottage (sleeps 3 + 1) which has had the full treatment; being painted throughout, new carpets, curtains and new sofa.

always excellent. Carefully maintained properties with lots of extras. Staff are helpful and always on hand if there is a problem, which their rarely is.

We have been staying at Eastgate Cottages for years 35+ times, lost count. Never any complaints Elaine Kevin and staff are great. Can't wait to see the new cottage when finished and added to the collection............see you soon hopefully x

We have been coming to Eastgate in October for the War weekend for a very long time. It is the best place to be in Pickering and Elaine and Kevin and all of their staff are wonderful. Helen never seems to be phased by anything! When you arrive at your chosen cottage it’s like coming home and we are very excited because we are going in to one of the new cottages in 2018 - can’t wait.

Three nights at Rowntree Cottage just weren't enough... magical place!! The quality of the decor, and the tranquility of the surroundings were perfect. With our own, personal railway line (shared with one or two others) just down the road, we didn't need to use the car once... and the sound of the echoing 'toot toot' as the next steamer approached the station... magical (again). Thanks to Eastgate Cottages for providing such a wonderful setting (plus the lemon-drizzle cake on arrival). We will, undoubtedly, be back for more, and for longer. John & Sheila

The cottages are amazing really home from home and perfectly situated to explore the moors and coast.

Fantastic cottages in a fantastic location. Nice and safe for young children. We're just back from our second stay here and it's almost certain we'll be back again in the future. I can't imagine a better place for us to stay in the area.

Fabulous place, it never disappoints. Think this is our 14th year, never want to go home. So many lovely memories made.

Cottage perfect, dog friendly, home from home and have booked to come again in October and April . Will not stay anywhere else now in Pickering . Love it!!

Beautiful, immaculate accomodation. Decorated for Christmas with welcoming mulled wine and tea bread. Very, comfortable bed. All facilities easy to use. Pet friendly. I would definitely book again.
