Congratulations to Professor Alan Murray.
His seminal book, 'Medical Devices: Use and Safety', has been released in Chinese and South Asia editions.
The book reviews real incidents with medical devices that involved serious injury or death. The book looks to prevent such incidents happening with medical devices.
... Professor Murray's book was well received in Europe and the US, given the worldwide interest in patient safety. These new editions will help Professor Murray's recommendations reach a global audience.

ShockSoc and PhySoc, the EEE and Physics student societies respectively, held their joint Summer Ball.
It was a great night and a lot of fun. The ShockSoc vs PhysSoc dance-off was inconclusive…
Big Thanks to everyone who played their part in making the night happen, Brandon Few for the photographs and As You Like It in Jesmond for hosting the event.
