We spent Christmas in Whitby & were in the Endeavour everyday except Christmas day...it's a fab pub...they are so friendly & welcoming...the entertainment is great...Serenity are brilliant... We were singing along & dancing in our seats...the pub snacks are delicious, if you are a bit more hungry...they let you bring yr fish & chips in to eat...as long as you take yr empty boxes away with you....the only thing I would criticise are the toilets, they need updating....but a fab place to go & dog friendly xxx

User

Warm and friendly...great selection of beers...even greater selection of gins!! Bar snacks available but more than welcome to bring in your own fish and chips...they will even provide you with cutlery and condiments. We enjoyed the live music too. Will be back in the summer.

User

This is our favourite pub in Whitby and always our first port of call. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beer is first rate and the Quoff and Scoff menu is excellent. It’s not just my fave Whitby pub it is one of my fave pubs anyway

User

Open fire, Gin palace, dog friendly & bring your own chips & they’ll even supply the cutlery & condiments what’s not to love. We’re season residents & it’s our go-to pub. Warm & welcoming it’s a great little pub.

User

Lovely friendly atmosphere. Doggie friendly and you can bring in your own fish and chips. We were only planning having a couple before we caught bus back to scarbrough. But decided to catch a later bus. Gins are amazing.

User

Great pub. Encouraged fish and chips to be brought in from chippy next door, they provided cutlery and condiments, and the dig snoozed by the fire as we ate. Great beers and gins.

User

Great pub, friendly staff, dog friendly, bring your own fish and chips - nothing a bother. I’ll go back again, again and again

User

Good gin selection & great atmosphere. Take your own fish & chips in too . Regular place to pop in when we are in whitby.

User

Good clean pub, good selection of real ales.

Allows food from takeaway to be eaten on site and provides condiments etc.

Really appreciate d yesterday rain rain .

Sit inside and enjoy fish and chips a pint , open fires.

Will go back.

User

Freindly and welcoming staff , we went in because a sign outside said come in with your fish and chips . Sat down wirh a pint from the bar and a member of staff brought us some cutlery and condiments .

User

First time in this pub this Easter Saturday. Weather atrocious so what warm welcoming bar. Barman let me try cider first 👌.great idea with the fish and chips idea. Will become a regular place for us now.

User

Brilliant pub the staff are so friendly, the atmosphere is great, it’s dog friendly and bring your own fish n chips or pie n mash brilliant, for all the gin lovers there’s 30+ gins to choose from , well worth a visit you won’t be disappointed.

Been in Whitby this weekend for Soul Weekend. Were recommended the Endeavour by friends we were with.Brill Atmosphere lovely staff and we're allowed to take in fish n chips from takeaway, Went down well with a lovely Rhubarb n Ginger Gin.Not only that they provided cutlery and condiments for the food.Thankyou Guys.Just heard you do accommodation as well will be checking it out after this review.

User

Absolutely love this pub. Came in with my partner last night in just a shirt lol. Was made really welcome. And got the table right in front of the roaring fire. Didn't want to leave, But will be back, on our next Whitby visit.

User

A must to try their rhubarb and ginger gin cup 😃 live blues on the tues we were there as well . Came there again before leaving as you are allowed to bring your takeaways in to eat

User

A Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Very welcoming bar maid who chatted to us whilst we were eating our fish and chips. The dog enjoyed the warm fire and the kids loved the colouring. can't wait to return x

User

We went to whitby on a whim didn’t book anywhere as it was a weekend it was quite busy as usual and didn’t think we’d find anywhere luckily endeavour had a room which overlooked the harbour and reasonably priced what a bonus the room was lovely, clean and comfortable with a great view I’d definitely recommend staying here will definitely stay here again the pub itself was nice and friendly nice atmosphere friendly staff and how nice to have a pub that does just bar meals loved it 👍👍👍👍

User

Great pub good selection of beers, top bar staff who have great product knowledge and excellent service. Allow you to bring on fish n chips from chippy next door but one. Turn on when we visited who were ok. Would visit again and recommend.

User

Good location, good choice of beers, polite staff. A pity they don’t serve food, but they go out of their way to accommodate people taking in their own fish& chips, providing condiments & cutlery, which is quite remarkable in this day and age. Well recommended.
