Alan and I seem to have been living out of a suitcase over the last few weeks although enjoyed every minute !!!! In the recent hot weather we witnessed an unfortunate sight on our way to Sunderland a car had pulled over on to a pavement with the hatch back open and a man cradling a motionless dog, we could not stop because of the traffic flow. Today I read of a TV personality who had walked her 2 Labradors only to return and loose both of them to heat related deaths. Ple...ase .please take care with your pets in these extreme temperatures, cool coats and cool mats are a huge benefit to your pet as well as toys that can help keep your pet hydrated during play we are only to happy to offer advise and answer any questions on how to keep your dog comfortable, We now offer a loyalty card which enables all customers to build up points to receive rewards for their pets from treats to food or vouchers plus monthly offers will be introduced in the near future. .

Hi everyone Alan and I have just returned from a couple days away rock on Robbie Williams it was great . It seems we have been missed so this is a quick note to the ladies who called in looking for tiny harnesses we now have the EXTRA SMALL Urban Pup ones in they are so dinky but also have sizes up to EXTRA LARGE we will be getting more collars leads etc from this company soon. Will try and upload some photo's tomorrow.

Hi everyone This note is aimed at any veterinary professionals who maybe able to help a fabulous customer who at 84 years young rescued a little Westie that is 11 years plus, was in extremely poor condition and no doubt has a very dodgy history. However over the last six months the change in this little dog is inspiring, to groom her yesterday without her flinching and backing off in pain was a dream and she is obviously so great full for the new lease of life she has bee...n given. But her teeth are in need of work and am sure from my grooming experience that this would have a more positive effect on her skin and coat condition ( which has improved but could be better). I have asked the owner to come in and see one of our 18 year old customers who had his teeth done last year and looks great, in fact think hes got a few more year left in him now, So is there someone who can give this lady some genuine medical advice for her little companion please.

Hi everyone Happy New Year to you all, writing to let you know Alan and I have returned safely from our holiday and will re-open tomorrow at 8am to 5.30pm daily. Going forward we will now be closed all day on a Wednesday. We will however be open on Wed 1st Feb and closed Friday 3rd Feb from them on this will be a 6 weekly occurrence. We also have quite a few days that we will not be in the shop this year this does not necessary mean we are not working just diversifying, we do hope this does not cause to much inconvenience as this is to enable us to provide you with a better service which we believe you and your gorgeous pets truly deserve.May we take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind gestures, reviews and support over the last five years thank you thank you thank you,

Good morning everyone busy busy busy as every groomer is this time of year sorry not grooming in the window we have improved the heating out the back so dogs and I are cosy as toast although feel like I have locked in syndrome ! . This is just to let you know we had delivery yesterday of the coats and collars that were on order plus a selection of beds toys and coats oh also collars for small dogs and puppies there have been quite a few enquiries about these thank you so much we are open today and Saturday but closed tomorrow .

Just a quick update the parcel expected next week arrived yesterday so we now have in store some very smart tartan coats with underbelly protection. Also uploaded some pictures of the patterned harnesses in answer to the lady who phoned today questions we do have various sies in each many thanks

Ann also asked for a rechargeable light up collar so we ordered a few in various colours and sizes these too will be in early next week.

Hi everyone so very pleased with the progress we are making with restructuring the business we have some exciting new projects for the New Year . Hi everyone my favourite time of year is here I love all the festivities this season brings although not easy when you live with someone who suffers from sad Ha ha.! I do prefer the warmer weather though. We must say we have had the most wonderful time looking after your gorgeous cats and dogs over the last few months we have very much appreciated their company . Good morning everyone sorry this page does not update regularly but the summer has been spent upgrading facilities and expanding our retail side which we will update this page with new photos soon. I hope new viewers are not to disappointed ! The reason for this post is to state my position in what seems to be an escalating situation between a customer and groomer. I would like it to state that I would not comment on a groom when I have not seen the condition of the animal a groomer has been presented with ! We all deal with situations differently ! It may not have been the way I would have done it but I strongly oppose being used as a witness in this situation I did not see the animal prior nor after the groom and have not commented on any photos sent to me I can only apologise for not being able to find an appointment !

Sorry to all the new viewers and also regular visitors to this page we have had a busy time getting alterations done at home and in the shop so this has been very neglected. I must say the weather over the last week or so has been great ! Alan and I have been fitting in an early morning cycle ride before work if we have not had any 4 legged guests to walk its been great, The shop window under went a make over last week but yesterdays customer comment was the best " this is ...lovely is it for the Football, The Queen's Birthday or are you supporting Brexit ? Ha Ha Ha The answer is the football but very proud to be British and confident we will manage which ever way the vote goes. Hi everyone , I had composed a post about the change in the weather and the feel good lighter nights but its still winter !! so will save it till next time. This is to let you know our opening times this week as we are at the Galleries until 12 noon today we will close about 3pm on Thursday and 2pm on Friday other than that we are open Wednesday and Saturday until 5pm .

We hope everyone has enjoyed their Easter weekend ? we certainly have dividing our time between dog walks,decorating and family bliss ! We are open tomorrow Tuesday at 12 noon as we are at the Galleries first ting setting up our display in Natwest Bank to promote our Pet Care Services. We also have some half days over the next fortnight too as we attend the stand we will keep you informed of these. Also new stock has arrived of 100% pure meat treats including tripe bones , buffalo horn and jerk venison, rabbit, duck and lamb. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

We never expected such a response to our last update so thank you all very much. Easter is nearly here so looking forward to our 4 days off lets hope for some good weather. As long standing customers will know at Easter we usually give Easter Eggs or Treats to our 4 legged friends, this year time eluded us to wrap them individually so we have donated them to Bryson's Animal Rescue, they are on route via Ann one of their volunteers who frequents the shop so we hope they all enjoy. But you need not worry April we celebrate our first year in the Wardley shop can't believe it where did that 12 months go !!!!
