Busy, enjoyable, Christmaasy fun-filled face painting in Stockton-on-Tees this weekend brought this year's Christmas event season to a wonderful finale; our Christmas themed face paint design board is now ready to be popped into storage again until next Winter as we prepare our design board for our first face paint booking of 2019.....a big event on New Years Day itself, in Guisborough.

Well the Christmas party season is here....our most requested face paint design at our recent events is Rudolph...always a favourite year after year...though Elsa did knock him off top spot for a few years, he seems to be back in top place again.....thought The Grinch face paint design may have been up there in the running for top spot this year but he's currently well lagging behind...Holly Princess is coming in at a close second spot....well actually currently a tie breaker... for second place between Holly Princess & Hello Kitty....yup she's popular all year round is little Miss Kitty (tried offering her with a sprig of holly instead of a bow to make her look more festive ... but no, our little Miss Kitty customers know exactly what they want...just the bow please, no holly!) 😊looking at us as if to say "if I'd have wanted holly I would have picked the Holly Princess design instead of Hello Kitty" lol! 😊

“Hello Kitty” style face once again topped the popularity poll in the day’s most requested face paint design for the 2nd birthday party in a row! Though we do offer a design board of at least 25 different facepaint choices as standard for every party or event booking...seems the 1st little customer always starts the trend & then most of the others tend to want the same design lol!

Phew....that's another megga megga busy Halloween face painting season of parties & events completed for another year....Halloween design boards full of pumpkins, corpse brides, werewolves & all the other scary faces go back into storage till next year 👻🎃. Soon we'll be getting out the Christmas design boards full of all the Santa, Rudolph and Snowman face paint designs we offer ☃❄️.....mind we still get asked to do skull, vampire & scary clown designs no matter what season of the year so Scary Halloween style faces are never really completely off the menu 💀 lol!

Well, we're already into the busy Halloween season👻💀👽, in fact our first Halloween event of this year was about a fortnight ago....we're already fully booked for the big day (& night itself) but still have availability Tuesday if anyone is having a pre Halloween party ..... Or, of course a birthday party. 😊

Phew what an exceptionally busy bank holiday weekend we’ve had, working at events, parties, christenings & private bookings in Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Sunderland, New Marske & North Yorkshire. As well as face painting & armpainting our team were also doing henna & airbrushed temporary & glitter tattoos, hairbraiding, holistic therapies arts & crafts & holistic therapy & art workshops! Honoured to have been invited back to facepaint at the family show at this fantastic event once again. The family show is today at 4pm (weather permitting). Crazy evening of facepainting teenagers at a Uni summer school event last night. University gigs are often quite bizarre at the best of times & always fun to work at but this was bizarre even for a Uni gig! : The students didn’t want to leave their place in our megga long Q line to go into the other area to take part in the “silent” disco....so they brought the “silent”disco headphones with them to enjoy the music & dance in our Queue line (oh please no, we thought as we real...ised what was happening...having been unfortunately in ear shot of many a “silent”disco at numerous other events) They are anything but silent to anyone unlucky enough to be able to hear them when they were all happily singing along at the tops of their voices as they can’t hear themselves or each other as they are all wearing headphones playing their chosen tune..often half the crowd are singing the song that’s on one Chanel of the headphones, half are oblivious to them & singing another song) Our queue had now turned into a sort of of random Kareoke very bizarre indeed, & so comical to watch, if your ears can withstand the noise...mmm help! We’ve got to listen to this for another hour & a half!! ...Then towards the end the remaining students started to sing the beginning words to Sila’s Chandelier ... oh please no anything but that song...it’s one of our favourite songs & it has some seriously powerful & high notes ...I put my hand over my ears anticipating the dreadful noise that was about to surround us.... & then .... to our complete & utter astonishment .....we witnessed the most beautiful harmonious rendition of that song you could ever imagine (though the students themselves were completely oblivious to this as they all had their own headphones on & could neither hear themselves or each other! ) It sounded so totally beautiful & amazing & yet it was simultaneously completely one of the most comical & bizarre sights ever....I so wish I had thought to video it!!! Turns out this group of students were all the music students, they were a truly talented bunch. We stopped painting for a moment to give them a well deserved round of applause at the end of the song (They were baffled as they were quite oblivious to the beautiful amazing & wierd concert they had just inadvertently performed for us!) #loveourjob #facepainters.
