What a lovely bunch of staff, extremely pleasant & jovial, our meals of ploughman’s, baked potato with prawn cocktail, sirloin steak were absolutely lovely, mother inlaw loved her banana split but I was really looking forward to a chocolate eclair but unfortunately they had none left, (this was the only downside) highly recommend this place even if you only call for a drink

We came on saturday night for a family meal as my brother leaves for Australia shortly.

It was a lovely evening.

I had my usual carvery and as usual it was all lovely and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

One slight niggle was that there wasnt the usual selection of veg choices but i guess that go's with it being 6.30pm

Where we sat (table 22) right in the window was a lovely quiet area as well. Was a tad warm but it was a lovely sunny day.

I can't count how many times we've been its been too many but we always enjoy ourselves and its always a lovely friendly atmosphere and we have a great time.

Visited with my partner and our daughters, the food was excellent and I’m a picky fella, deserts were even better, the size of the desserts was generous to say the least, but the eclair was unreal, they had to serve it on a dinner plate it’s that big, the staff, who I must say were very friendly and helpful at all times, offered boxes to take out the remainder rather than go to waste, it’s not our first visit and definitely won’t be the last

Visited wearside farm on Saturday the 2nd of June the hole experience was first class from being welcomed at the door to find a very clean and tidy establishment and to the very friendly and helpful bar staff we where told there was about a half hour wait for are food order but was delivered within 15 minutes by again a very nice polite young lady the food hot well cooked and tasted very nice my compliments to all your staff for a very enjoyable after noon lunch a hope to return very soon

Visited for the first time tonight and had a very pleasant experience. We had a few requests that were inconvenient to the staff, but they were more than accomadating. The food was very good and well priced. Our waitress was really canny, and the other staff were polite and friendly. Will definitely be back.

There is a good choice on the menu and the desert menu is good staff are really welcome. would highly recommend

Out with the family for my dads birthday lunch and it was delicious and the desserts were fabulous definitely worth every penny, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, will definitely be returning sometime soon :D x

My father had booked a family meal, when we turned up who ever took the booking had put it for the day before. The lass who we spoke to quickly apologised, arranged space for us and had us seated in about 10mins, this was the weekend before Christmas, all the staff were lovely especially the lass who sorted everything out. Thank you we had a lovely time

My family and our friends visited you last night (sat 13th) for a meal. Party of 6. We arrived about 5.30ish after finishing work. Our food arrived quickly, I had the ploughman's. Our food was all fresh, hot and looked delicious which it was. After our meals we ordered coffee which was delivered to our table with the cakeaways we had ordered to take home, along with Christmas cake for us to try. The Christmas cake was so nice. So much so my son ate 2 pieces. We sat for a good few hrs and didn't feel rushed to hurry up and leave. We were looked after by your staff from walking in to us leaving and we can't fault you on a thing! First class customer service, pleasant and friendly staff and lovely tasting food. You will now be our go to place for our meals out together. Thanks so much for a lovely evening. X

Had a little get together for our baby’s gender reveal on Sunday night - staff were absolutely wonderful! Thank you! A super kind staff member offered to film the reveal which was so lovely and will help us remember the event in years to come, we are so grateful! was totally unexpected to see staff watching the reveal too but we really appreciated the kindness of everyone! Made it all the more special! Although carvery was coming to a close as we ate later on in the evening, food was absolutely delicious - would totally recommend wearside farm to anyone that wants friendly service & amazing food xx

Best place every for a Sunday roast. I always get the large carvery, with the biggest pudding and the pigs in blankets are the best ever. Everyone must try this place

Got the carvery this time the mashed pototoe was tastless were its usually creamy .the beef was nice.my grandson had chicken nugget meal which he enjoyed

Carvery - standard / was huge! Small next time me thinks! Parsnips were a bit hard but no problem for waiting staff to replace......Staff friendly and chatty - I felt cold but my daughter didn’t

One end closed - my daughter had her 6 week old bs y with her and it was noisy - other end would’ve been better but overall nice food and atmosphere

I was in with my hubby yesterday for Lunch only had limited menu, (as still quite bit of snow on ground)hubby was disappointed there was no steak on, what we had we enjoyed though.

Food was disgusting we got a mix grill what was well cooked and rock hard and chicken medley what was dry and disgusting it definitely wasnt fresh food

The carvey we had today was awful! No turkey left so i had to have chicken breast which was very dry n had no flavour. The veg was cold and the boiled potatoes weren't cooked through properly..... Very disappointed!!

Place was empty not surprised food was served cold even though we waited a hour for it to come out never go bk

Such a game last few years we’ve gone here Christmas Eve tonight was the last. We go here a fair bit normally, the food was returned cold and some things were wrong and stale bread (which they did change) even that could have been forgiven more than the utterly rude staff. The last hour they loudly talked about wanting to leave and not be there complaining we still were. I get no one wants to be Work Christmas Eve but they are open until 11. If they wanted us to go before closing and to leave early all they had to do is politely as. Then the sarcastic waves and giggles as we left we’re in called for. Being made to feel unwelcome has plain put me off going back at all. I don’t want to work over Christmas but no need to be rude.
