The temperatures are rising again this weekend. It's important to be aware that vulnerable people, such as older people and young children, are at increased risk of health issues when the temperature is high.

We had a great day yesterday raising money for the Chloe & Liam Together Forever Trust. With our wonderful team and patients, we managed to raise a staggering £714, with a few bits left to come in. We had a raffle, cake sale, tombola and flower draw. Thanks to local GP practices, Dr Dowsett and overs, Talbot Medical Centre, Trinity, and St Georges and Riverside who also joined in. There were mixed emotions throughout the day, but we managed to laugh and have some fun! Thanks again to local businesses for thier support with some great raffle prizes. Sending our love and thoughts to the families of Chloe and Liam, who were on our mind throughout the day.

Did you know that you can see your local community pharmacist to help diagnose and treat a wide range minor illnesses?
Pharmacists are experts in the use of medicines and are qualified to diagnose and treat minor illnesses. They can help manage many problems including colds and flu, allergies, ear ache, stomach problems and common skin problems.
You do not need to make an appointment so you may be seen much quicker than waiting to see a GP plus this helps free up more appoin...tments at the surgery.
Remember... Think pharmacy first
