Stage one complete : 175kg of sand washed and in and weir pipes connected up now we can start too slowing fill it up might take a while 😁

Our new display tank gettin installed only took 4 hours to get it in the shop but it look great. Will hope fully have fish in soon

Well what can I say. Bought 2 of the new arcadia t5 led bulbs from here. An actinic and a colour to place in my 6 bulb iquatics ballast over my marine aquarium. Was excited to just see what a t5 and led combo would do for my corals. However disaster struck once I fitted the new t5 led bulb. It had blown the fuse and one of my other bulbs. Thinking it was just a faulty bulb I tried the other bulb and disaster struck again. At this point I had lost two blue plus bulbs and 3 fuses. I quickly rang the shop as it was 5 min from closing on a Sunday. I explained what had happened. They said they would stay open so I could return the t5 led bulbs, and get a full refund and replace the bulbs I lost. As I have lps corals lighting is essential. They are true to there word and full refund and 2 free bulbs and even contacted arcadia for an explanation as to what the problem could be. Although my ballast may not be compatible with there t5 led bulbs. Fish alive could never of foreseen this and did everything they could to ensure I had my bulbs replaced to ensure the success of my corals free of charge. Fish alive exceeded customer service. A lfs to stay open after hours on a Sunday. Give you 2 free bulbs and a full refund no questions asked and to find out the cause of the problem to which may I remind you is something which is totally out of there hands. Can't say anything but fantastic and will definitely continue to purchase from them in the future. Well done fish alive. Customer service and after care was top notch. 5star all day long

Simply Brilliant!!!!!!! Me and a friend have gone round every fish place we can find in the north of England. Fish alive are simply the best. Great service and advice. Great stock and can source you pretty much anything. Not always the best price. that being said there amazing.

Popped in for the first time for a bit of advice and couldn't recommend any more what a top service we got. No pushy sales just genuine advice and care, we will definitely be using this place for all our fishy needs from now on.

Just want to give Amy and Doug a huge thumbs up. We bought a tank at the beginning of the year and for some reason it decided to explode all over my living room. Amy was second to none in helping us. We returned the tank to the store and she gave us a new pick of a new tank to the same value (we opted to pay extra and get one we love) Absolutely fabulous customer service. LOVELY family run business and been going here for years and will continue to do so. Can't thank Amy enough.. Lovely lass. xx

Just had a normal cold water tank, went in to pick up my reserved fish for that tank, came out with a different fish and the upgrades to make the tank tropical! All the staff are friendly and well educated on the fish.

I love this shop. They are so patient and knowledgeable. They are only too pleased to help you with any queries you might have.

I love this shop. The staff are so knowledgeable and give expert advice. They would rather lose a sale than sell you a fish that wasn’t suitable for your tank. Large choice of fish available and flora for the tank. We bought a tank and side board combined. I love it.

Great place for all you need very friendly and helpful and always have time for you they also have a wide range of products and even bigger range of fish keep up the good work guys � excellent.

Found this gem of a shop yesterday. Some absolutely stunning fish in here. Very friendly helpful staff, will be returning again soon.

I am rather indecisive and despite tanks filling, I didn't feel rushed or pressured.

Back in the Hobby after a few years lay off, this place is still exactly a I remembered it, healthy stock ,well maintained tanks and very knowledgeable and very helpful staff, would have no problems in recommending Fish Alive !

Amazing aquatic shop, the staff are always kind and helpful and give out lots of great information. The fish I’ve bought have always been very healthy and are affordable!

Always a massive selection of fish to choose from, as well as accessories for the tank too! Staff are really friendly, always happy to help and incredibly knowledgeable. Thanks for all your help :)

Always a good selection of fish, really friendly & knowledable. Been to loads of fish places but I always go back to fish alive, great selection of fish and great advice/tips when you’re in the shop, there doesn’t seem to be such a thing as a stupid question - great shop

After some years of neglect we have finally got our tank back up and running properly. This store had everything we needed with large displays and variety of fish. Our tank looks amazing. Thank you for all the advice and help. And learnt today that a man can multitask haha. We will be back for more fish when the others settle.

Absolutely amazing this place helped me sort my fish tank out when it was a total mess foggy and slimy... helped me pick the best filter for my tanks and got some cute little guppys for my daughter really friendly on every visit would highly recommend to anyone wouldnt go any where else now thank you guys.. merry xmas
