A Sandisk memory card, probably from a camera has been found on the site whilst clearing. If anyone has lost one please PM us!
Well the card has no photos on it so probably a spare, but there is one empty directory. If its yours and you can name the directory let us know!

Hello everyone, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the Frontline Event this weekend. Two people especially, Brian Gladstone and Richard Hardy. Who went above and beyond the call of duty, without their support and encouragement I would have gave up long ago. My thanks must also go to the Northern WWII association for a brilliant Show and some fantastic Displays, all of the other WWII groups involved and not Forgetting Brian's WWI kitchen. Thank...s must go to the varity of other history groups also involved The Saxons, Celts, Romans, Vikings, Medieval, Tudor, Victorian, and not forgetting the American Civil War Society who all put on fantastic Shows and Displays. Apologies if i missed anybody out. I would also like to compliment everyone on the way they left their respective sites clean and litter free, you are a credit to re-enactors everywhere. Thank you to all the other people who came to display. Yes the weather was bad and the turnout was minimal but those who braved the weather have given us hope for a better event next year. So thank you all again from Myself and my family, Billy Adams. W Adams & Son Events.

Latest group to enlist!
Comitatus Aquila, Crusade Re-enactment.
We are a historical re-enactment group, based at in the surrounding areas of Middlesbrough. We are part of the nationwide society of Crusade, naturally we re-enact Crusading times notably 1st, 2nd and 3rd Crusade. We also re-enact the War of the Roses time, portraying a group of German Mercenaries fighting on the side of the Yorkists. We can also cover the Dark Ages from old Vikings up to 1066. We also dabble in the Napoleonic era portraying the Duke of Brunswick’s Black Horde army and a mix of American militia, Native American warriors and English Naval Crew during the War of 1812.

Great event. People I spoke to were very friendly, informative and destroyed a few myths I had on certain weapons.

Next time my girlfriend and I will bring the children.

Great day. Surprised just how many reenactment people were there and just how big the event was. As more people get to know about it I am sure it will grow into one of the main North East family events of the year. Well worth a visit and we will be there in 2018 too!
