Lovely gin bar. We called after the cinema and staff were very helpful as we are new to the gin experience. Only thing i would say let it down was the music. You could hardly have a conversation without shouting at each other. We will be back though x

Had suprise 25th wedding anniversary party for family and friends. Fab night! Had my daughters baby shower yesterday and everyone had a great time. Mark was really friendly and helpful from the day I booked it. Couldn't have picked a better venue. Will definitely be back �

Great drinks in nice surroundings , great cocktails on the menu - spoilt for choice but managed to work my way through it. Sunderland could do with a few more decent bars like this one.

Good bar Sunderland people need to embrace and promote what we have. They will find things will improve faster than whinging about what we don't have �

Fab night and amazing drinks - loved the huge selection of gins and the staff who are very knowledgable about the drinks - I loved the rhubarb gin with ginger beer!

Done our Gin tasting class last nite and was toppa had a laugh with Jamie who knows his stuff really enjoyed it so worth the money cant wait 2 try the other classes cheers G&BI 🍸🍹👍😁

Been to gin and bear it tonight as i won a competition on face book its a great little place with great staff that was very accommodating the drinks are great ask for a palma violet cocktail they are amazing thankyou for a great night xx

Absolutely amazing. Don't usually drink gin so was unsure what to order. Told the barman that I liked fruity and sweet drinks. He made me the best drink I've tasted! Will definitely be back.

A really good bar. Got very busy later in the night and is very small when so many people are in. However the gin is fantastic so many to choose from and served in lovely glasses. Well worth a visit.

1st time here last night and it was amazing.

Tried 3 different ones off the menu and they didn’t disappoint.......absolutely gorgeous.

Barman was very friendly, courteous and knew his stuff!

Loved the menu, decor and atmosphere. Only complain would be the loungey house music, but thats just my personal preference (something about it just creeps me out �)

I visited the bar tonight with my brothers and a few associates of theirs. The gin was nice (I had it with lemonade), it was warm (contrary to some claims it was cold), and it was clean and pleasant.



The only complaints (and there's only 2) are that it cost more for a small 200ml bottle of Diet Coke than it would for an individual can with more in it, and that the music was too loud, even for me with sensitive ears it was still too loud.



I'd happily visit again.

Didnt have the gins x 2 we chose from the menu or the grapefruit. the one we eventually got was nice tho,
