Stop what you are doing immediately and look at this cute parrotlet! He's stolen our hearts already.
He will be ready for a home in 2-3 weeks, depending on how he gets on. Any bird we home will always be fully weaned and able to eat/drink by itself.

Our friends at Pawz For Thought need your help! If you have spare time and can competently rear fledglings, please get in contact with them. They are overrun with baby birds who need help ­¤ÉŻ

Meet Bobby and Betty, the hand tame, bonded pair of black-headed caiques.
They've been with us for a couple of weeks, just whilst they settle down and have shown us how funny they can be! They are around 5 years old, but have the potential to live for another 30 years.

­¤Æø Meet Gizmo! ­¤Æø
Gizmo is a handreared yellow thighed caique, who as far as we have seen, goes to almost anyone. We have only had a couple of weeks to suss him out, but he is truly gorgeous.
He loves his BBFE sprouting seed and Psittacus pellets, and will happily sing away at any food he loves.
... He came to the shop through no fault of his own, as his owner was no longer able to keep him after 10 years of friendship.
Caiques are very social and playful and Gizmo would just love to entertain a new family.
Everyone is welcome to come and meet him. Whether you are interested in buying a caique, a canary, or if you just want to come in for a chat
He's ┬Ż650, and he comes with samples of his current diet, care sheet (if needed) and a choice of kabob!

Our manager, Ray, tied the knot last month and her sister made these gorgeous wild bird treats as wedding favours!
These were made from Countrywide No Mess Wild Bird food and stuck together using a mix of honey, flour and water, and put in the oven to bake (just make sure there are no relatives around who might take a bite when they see them on the cooling rack!)
These are great to make as thank yous, birthday presents, or even just a fun craft day with the kids. If you are going to put tags on like this, please remember to use biodegradable jute and card. ŌÖ╗’ĖÅ

And the dill obsession continues today!

The budgies at the shop absolutely adore Dill, they couldn't get enough of it. One even took to rolling in it and eating it on his back! What other herbs do your birds enjoy? We'd love to try it on our birds.
From finches and canaries, to parakeets and parrots. All our birds get fresh fruit, veg and herbs every day.
