HOW HARD HAS LIFE HIT YOU CHALLENGE
I hate that... I hate that term ... life has not HIT ME hard, it's given me 7 years of making ring slings, helping babies be get hugs, designing clever products to help parents get through the day. It's given me 3 children, its taught me why the world needs autistic adults (and therefore, autistic children) .. it clearly has also given me a lot of cake ... but overweight is not the worst thing you can be... there is time in life for salad and now is not that time...

This applies to slings and baby carriers too:
✔ try to hire or borrow while you're figuring out what you need from a baby carrier
✔ look at how seriously brands take sustainability in their manufacturing process
... ✔ pass on the love once your baby is no longer carried

The wonderful GS converted a wrap I bought into a RS for me and a shortie for the current owner. She did all the liaising work with the other party and I did nothing and ended up with a beautiful RS with my own choice of ring which GS also sorted for me and even canvassed opinions to help me decide. Couldn't ask for better and nicer service. Would recommend to all x

My first ever sling was made by Geeky Sweetheart, a lilac denim whales ring sling which myself and my Dad heavily favoured and it is still well used by a 4year old and nearly 3 year old and will remain with us always!

I've had one wrap conversion ring sling made by Samantha and it was amazing! I have another on the way right now. Her work is exceptionally good, her communications always polite and friendly (no matter how many questions you ask!) and I can't recommend her enough. X

I wouldn't send my precious wraps to anyone else for conversion, Geeky is the best!

I have had a couple of wraps converted to ring slings by Sam and the work is always superb, neat and well finished and she provides fantastic communication. I would definitely use her services again (in fact I wouldn't get a ring sling conversion anywhere else!)

Gosh I would like to give ten stars actually! I handed in a six to get converted to a 2 and a ring sling, and I just got it back. Up Mouse went in the ring sling - by Odhinn's armpit it's good! It pulls through the rings like it's always been a ring sling, and is super secure. And it looks great! I did a wee shimmy... The 2 looks nice, I'm not a seamstress but to my eyes it looks flawless, the hems are straight and it looks like I just bought a 2! I heartily recommend, I had heard good things about Geeky Sweetheart previously but I can attest that she exceeded my expectations!

Geeky sweetheart is in my opinion the best seamstress out there. She is the ONLY one I would send my wraps too and the RSs are always perfect and the chop jobs always beautifully hemmed. She is also repairing a RS for me that I LOVE but is damaged (I bought it like that) she's professional, curtious and always posts when she says she will... Updating all the time xxx

Geeky is the best! I have tried lot's of ringslings on my journey but I like geekys the best. I have owned off the shelf ready mades and i have also send wraps for conversion. Samantha always does everything she can to make the most awesome and beautiful things.



I have also had 2 bags made by Lizzie and they were both utterly brilliant. Faultless work again and me and my wife are still using the one we share all the time, 2 years or so after getting it and it hasn't even got a loose thread.



I also want to point out that Samantha does so much more then her amazing sewing and making all these wonderful things. She is such a great advocate for babywearing. She is one of the first people that offered me help when I first started, and she has been a constant inspiration and source of encouragement.
