What a lovely little place! Good selection of Gelato and Sorbet, hot and cold beverages on offer too. Very relaxed feel to the place and the staff were just lovely. Highly recommended for a visit.

We had my little girls 5th birthday princess tea party at Ghiaccio yesterday, couldn't have picked a better venue for it! Jayne and her team were so helpful from booking to finish, every attention to detail thought of.. Jayne even took care of the balloons and brilliant party bags for me.. the kids afternoon teas were perfect and ice creams absolutely delicious! My little girl loved every minute of her party and so did the rest of us, kids and adults all catered for with a lovely atmosphere.. thank you so much, we will be back ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

We had a Groupon voucher for afternoon tea with bucks fizz. After reading some reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect but we were really impressed. It’s a lovely little cafe with a nice atmosphere, spotlessly clean and friendly staff. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented and tasted great. We bought a few extras for the kids and they loved those too. Parking right outside is a bonus. Would definitely return!

Totally stumbled across this gem. Food delicious, great portions (glad I'm at gym tonight!!!) n fab value for money. Staff really friendly. Wish I'd seen it before as the Halloween afternoon teas looked amazingÔŅĹÔŅĹ. Will keep eye out for Xmas xxx

Took my sons and a friend for Halloween afternoon tea today and it was absolutely fantastic. It was even better than in the pictures, a brilliant mixture of sweet and savoury and creatively themed with treats such as ‚Äėcoffin sandwiches‚Äô. They demolished the lot! I would highly recommend a visit- easy to book, not a long wait for food and a clean and welcoming environment.

Took my sister yesterday as a treat. Our first visit and already planning a second visit. We had the afternoon tea and was a 100%spot on best yet we have had and good price for two people. Milk shakes were lovely as was the ice-cream and pims drink unexpected. Staff very friendly nothing to much trouble to them

Today I visited Ghiaccio with my class and 3 other staff members for the ice-cream workshop as part of our summer trip. Jayne was fantastic! Brilliant with the kids and great value for money. The kids participated in fun activities, lots of ice cream tasting and were given many treats to take home with them. The children haven‚Äôt stopped talking about it, they loved it! Gorgeous venue with exceptional service by Jayne. I‚Äôll definitely be visiting again either on more school visits or with family and friends. ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

My daughter had booked afternoon tea here for my birthday. The food and presentation were lovely, and we were made to feel so welcome by Jackie, she was so friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely afternoon tea for my daughters 5th birthday. They even managed to create a special dairy free afternoon tea for my daughter who has a severe dairy allergy. The owner could not have been more helpful and really went out of her way to create something lovely for my daughters birthday as well as making sure that it was the same as all the other children. Would highly recommend!!

I popped in today for the first time - what a brilliant find! The place is absolutely gorgeous and the decor amazing. I just had a light snack but there is so much choice - all the desserts looked so nice and the staff were lovely. I shall definitely be visiting again soon x

Had heard of this little gem in South Shields and took the X34 bus from Newcastle Centre whilst up for a friends reunion to sample its delights. Pre-booked for the Xmas afternoon tea and was so not disappointed. What a special, unique and tasty treat this was and extremely good value for money! Friendly and super efficient staff in a locker warm atmosphere. If you're in the North East take the trouble to pop over. So many thanks to the owner Jayne. We will be back! X

Been for afternoon tea this afternoon with my family. Can honestly say the staff are such lovely and accommodating people and everything was amazing! Will defiantly be back!xx

Been a few times and staff are always helpful and friendly. We went yesterday as a treat cause my eldest Son has been very poorly he asked for a Sundae then he changed his mind, I told him he would just have to eat it cause the girl had started to make it but nope you's came over and asked him exactly what he wanted in it! I could have kissed you cause he is still very much up and down with this Scarlett Fever. He never finished it but he really enjoyed what he did eat and told his Dad all about it last night. I had the Banana Waffle and once again it was amazing! Thank you not just for the lovely desserts but for helping make a fuss of my Son yesterday ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Absolutely fabulous. Best afternoon tea I have ever had. Definitely recommend. Such friendly staff and wonderful ice-cream and tea. A group of friends visited together. My only sadness is that it is too many miles from my home in Oxford. If you are local it is a must.

Took the kids yesterday for halloween themed afternoon tea . The kids loved it . A good selection of fun foods . Well thought out . My only critisism would be i found it a bit pricey but kids loved it so money well spent .
