Such An Amazing Atmosphere especially the Italian Job show and going crazy on the Waltzers and Miami see you next year

Lovely day as usual. Well organised and well run, lots for the little people to see (even if their favourite bits were the bales of straw positioned around the show ground and the JCB parked near the horses! ). Giving the youngsters an oak tree to celebrate 125 years was a nice touch. We'll be back next year and will also be looking at Membership. Well done all :-)

It's a long time since I last visited the show but certainly won't be as long this time. Great show lovely sized rings for the horse classes and a massive variety of trade stand. Well done to all the organisers

User

I was there with the Royal British Legion Riders Branch. Had a great day. Lots of interest. Thanks.

I had the privilege of being invited to Judge at this fantastic show last year. It was the nicest show I have ever attended,a fantastic day out, and the committee were superb in looking after us. Hope to return soon. Thank you x

User

First time we have visited this show and what a great day we had. Plenty to see and do and the weather couldnt have been better. See you next year!!

User

Fantastic day out- great atmosphere, fantastic food, beautiful livestock and interesting craft stalls . event programme was excellent esp falconry and free style motorcross.

User

Excellent show, we came from Nottingham had a fabulous day out with our friends from Rothbury just great thank you.( just think the program should have been included in the entry fee) loved the shuttle tractor too saved my legs thanks.

User

Been a good few years in a row now and it's a lovely day but even better when the sun shines like today ⛅

User

Absolutely brilliant show and tremendous work by everyone involved. It's a great attraction for everyone at all ages and if you haven't seen dancing sheep you missed a treat. Well done to all the entrants throughout the show and it seemed a really tough job to pick the winners in each category. Full credit to all involved and everyone who attended who made the 125th Glendale Show a success!!

A lovely show and always well attended. We noticed more seats out this year to sit and eat which was welcomed as last year we took ages to get a seat. Some of the items for sale in the Marquees were a bit overpriced. A basic pet id tag was £5.99 up to over £10. Other than that a great show and worth paying a visit.

Very enjoyable show, didn't buy any food or drink. Was very expensive

Highlight of the day has to be the sheep show it was fantastic

Bring back the stunt motorbikes please

User

The full family went this year with me, my wife, and our four kids.

Superb show with lots of stalls and cattle and horse show being exceptional.

If I had any negative points it would have to be the expensive hot food stalls ... paying well above the average for below par food.

Overpriced burgers and noodles wasted the day for us.... but then again showfolk know how to hike up the price.

All in all a good day out ..... but your packed lunch for next year is a must !!

The first time we have been and found it to be a very good day out

Lovely day, plenty to see and enjoy...always enjoy this show although it's always hard to get ringside to see the performances especially with a load of cars parked around the sides. One thing that did bother me was a donkey judge who felt the need to scold a lovely guy who was stood with a donkey chatting to a few of the crowd because the donkey was eating grass, manners cost nothing...there are polite ways to say the donkey shouldn't be eating, especially in front of the crowd. Give someone a clipboard and they're full of their own self importance! Just rude!!! Apart from that it was a good way to spend a bank holiday Monday.

User

All round a great show...more space around dog show would be good . This was only allocated two quite small rings, however judge and helpers did great job.

Prices of food and drink bit of a rip off

This was our second visit to this show and found it a bit boring in the main arena as could have had something better than police women riding their horses and three guys riding around in minis good stunts but not exciting while standing waiting with my dogs on the grass a couple passed the overpriced shawl( wraps ) stall and the trader came storming out and accused a woman of allowing her dog to cock its leg on their stand of which it didnt the stall holder was very rude calling the dog owner scum of which then esculated into a full blown slanging match even to the point where they nearly came to blows. after the dog owner departed, the stall holder brought out a spray bottle of domestos and sprayed it all over well past the boundaries of her pitch of which i thought was bad as any other dog passing would have walked straight through the bleach of which isnt good. i dont know what the stall holders are charged per pitch as i can only imagine that is why their prices were so high as food prices were high. we attend alot of agricultural shows year on year even the Great Yorkshire ahow and have never experienced high prices like we did here, indo realise that this is their livelihood but surely it makes sense to keep the prices realistic. we wont ever attend this show again unless the committee find some decent performances. as many other better shows throughout the NE of England to spend our money at.

sorry for the negative feed back.

Me , my husband and 3 children went and even though 2 youngest were free we had walked through the gate got 3 portions of chips 3 cans of pop bottle water we'd spent £57 in 10 mins I think its definatley overpriced
