User

Truly wonderful food and very good service. The portions are indeed plentiful so be very careful if you're popping in for a snack with an evening meal already booked - wow did we struggle later on, but it was worth it. Fabulous scones, with jam & cream of course.

User

The food was very nice and the staff were very friendly .they had A lot to cope with as there was 16 of us ..would definitely recommend it xx

User

The Goathland Tea Rooms plays host to the annual "Maud/Gosnell Tea Pouring Championships" each summer. The tradition is to turn up on an unspecified date in large numbers (there were 14 of us this year) and test the quality of service and gastronomy to its limits. The Tea Rooms never fail to impress (unlike our tea pouring!) and I personally recommend the chilli con carne jacket potato dish, of course washed down with lashings of Yorkshire tea (preferably poured by Alice Gosnell, who is this year's reigning champion tea pourer).

User

Can't fault these tea rooms, great atmosphere, lovely staff, great sense of humour and very friendly.

The food is second to none. We are in there every day when we visit from Norfolk (which is very often). We have been going up there for 20+ years and have just returned from another visit.
