We loved it had a delicious Jacket Potatoe , dog friendly and had fabulous staff the lady was so friendly and made the delicious jacket pot to boot definitely call again had some lovely things for sale in the shop too xxx
Truly wonderful food and very good service. The portions are indeed plentiful so be very careful if you're popping in for a snack with an evening meal already booked - wow did we struggle later on, but it was worth it. Fabulous scones, with jam & cream of course.
The food was very nice and the staff were very friendly .they had A lot to cope with as there was 16 of us ..would definitely recommend it xx
The Goathland Tea Rooms plays host to the annual "Maud/Gosnell Tea Pouring Championships" each summer. The tradition is to turn up on an unspecified date in large numbers (there were 14 of us this year) and test the quality of service and gastronomy to its limits. The Tea Rooms never fail to impress (unlike our tea pouring!) and I personally recommend the chilli con carne jacket potato dish, of course washed down with lashings of Yorkshire tea (preferably poured by Alice Gosnell, who is this year's reigning champion tea pourer).
Staff lovely and helpful. Dogs welcome . Food top clsss . Heaven on earth .. highly recommend a visit .
Marvellous service, friendly staff and lovely food. They even changed my sandwich when I couldn't eat it due to too much mayonnaise. The carrot cake is yummy. we will definitely return for seconds.
