To mark Ubisoft Reflections running their Gaming School all week, we're going to top it off with another Gamefest!
Pick up the controller of your favourite console and game solo or with mates, or enter a tournament on our HD Cinema screen. We're also introducing TWO new consoles to bring a new dimension to your childhood favourites...
It's totally free and open to anyone.

To mark the end of Ubisoft Gaming School, we will be booting up Games Fest III .
During the week, Ubisoft will be teaching participants how to code and build their own games, and on Friday 17, from 5pm until 6:30pm, the games made by the group will be available to play as part of GCT Gamefest. You never know, you could be playing the first ever game made by the next Chris Sawyer or even Hideo Kojima!
Then stick around for a few pints and fight it out on the big screen with Te...kken and Street Fighter or get nostalgic with the wide selection of retro consoles- including the new additions of the ZX Spectrum and Retro Freak console.

great food, great service and such a fantastic mix of events.

User

What a lovely venue! Been to a few events here and have tickets booked for a couple in the future. Great selection on the bar, friendly and helpful staff. The avocado and bacon stottie is just want you want of a morning and the coffee always smells delicious. The inclusivity and accessibility of the venue is wonderful, just what is needed in the world. And just one last thing, the toilets are great! So clean and the little baskets with the hairspray and stuff in is such a lush idea! Well worth a visit!

User

What a fantastic place! Love the food and the staff are amazing.

User

Went to see The Big Sick last night. The film was great, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, comfortable seats. I would recommend going.

User

Went to a film screening here a few weeks ago and loved it - never knew this place existed! Looks like they've done a really great job of opening it up to the community. They employ amazing staff, brew spectacular coffee and have some exciting events lined up. You can hire it too. I will definitely be going back :-)

User

Just popped into Gosforth Civic Theatre for a coffee as I just heard that they have recently opened up as a coffee shop during the day as well as a theatre space. I was really impressed. Bright, welcoming, open space with lovely wooden furnishings and a great outside bit with seating too! All the staff were so nice and friendly and easy to chat with. The man working in the coffee shop told me that they are also going to start doing food in the next couple of weeks and talked to me about the menu which sounds great! My coffee was delicious. Give it a gander.

User

Great little coffee shop with a social mission - but, just as importantly, good coffee and croissants. The theatre also hosted the Gosforth Beer Festival recently, which was a lot of fun. Wishing it every success in the future, I will be back.

A hidden gem just minutes from Newcastle city centre. A well-equipped theatre with the heart of a charity, producing events greater than the sum of its parts. Besides the live music, theatre and events, there is so much more going on for the community too. The cafe is great and there are clearly some beer lovers involved! Well worth supporting and frequenting!

User

Very pleasant lunch in the newly landscaped garden area. Staff obligingly moved a table outside as the rain had stopped. Proper ginger beer and delicious goat's cheese toastie. Plenty to choose from in the menu and reasonable price.

User

Service not great, I was on my own with baby in a pram and ordered 2 hot drinks, no offer to bring drinks over, the bar man watched me take pram over to a table and leave to come back for the drinks which took two trips. Nice cafe though...
